8-2 because we have played garbage teams. We probably go 10-0 without the trade.

One thing I noticed is that Murray plays much more free and easy whereas Grimes plays like if he makes a mistake, Thibs will sub him out.

The upshot is that I’m afraid that if we trade Grimes, he will flourish in a more conducive environment.

I understand that QG has made it know to the coaching staff that he’s very frustrated. I think that if we trade him, we’d be selling very low.

outside of there physical size and stature they have nothing similar in terms of there games. Murray has a ridiculous bag. Grimes is a C&S guy and attack close out guy. That is about.

Murray has a ridiculous layup package, step back jumper, and runs an elite P&R. Grimes can't do any of that.

just, completely this.

But I wish it wasn’t. :(

Time to consider trading one of them. Knick management is apparently of a similar opinion, according to recent reports, and have considered moving Randle.

I'm willing to attempt to build a championship calibre team around Brunson - but that will require everyone else being adequate to excellent defenders. Of course, if Randle played far fewer minutes per night for a coach without a double standard, and who ran a real offense, maybe you would be able to hold him accountable on the defensive end (and thus make him a better player) - which Thibs refuses to do.

I think the Knicks should trade both of them so they don't have to deal with even one flawed player. 5 non flawed players or nothing.

It's not any less tiresome than the constant binary takes on this forum. Nearly every stance is all or nothing. Jokes get jokes.

Some people can't do nuance. I don't see you helping the problem. I see you only making it worse.

Knicks fans are like; if Denver's coach drafted Grimes then he would have all of Jamal Murray's skills.

...That's not how that works or every player Pop drafted would be Kawhi and Duncan.

I love the schtick but, most of us know it's schtick and shouldn't be taken seriously. I appreciate your actual analysis more so, wish you step up that end of it at times too. I go overboard myself when I am bothered by things too. My over the top hatred for Randle has transferred to Thibs now. I go in too far but, fuq Thibs. He couldn't coach pee wee league!! He would have kids in traction for regular season wins!!

All jokes aside, how reliable is Robert Randolph? Does he actually have insider information?

He’s the least reliable source that ever existed. You can almost guarantee the opposite of whatever he says will happen

He's just a troll. I met him and his band at Mountain Jam about 10 years ago. They are a great live show. Bought them a round at the local bar and me and my wife were chatting them up for a while. He was only there briefly but, it was pretty cool hanging with the band.
