Hartenstein said he’s on a 25 minute restriction right now, but felt fine after last game. Great news there. I can tell he’s not going all out while he ramps back up. Precious and Sims looking serviceable and the team winning has been huge. They bought him some time.

Im looking forward to seeing if OG and Donte can make legit offensive jumps with Julius out. They already had the space to do that with Julius, but now it’s necessary unless a move is made for Brogdon, Murray, Hayward, Clarkson, etc.

OG was looking damn legit on offense his last 2 games, and Donte just needs to play more minutes. I think they can both hover around 17-20 ppg during this stretch. Everyone needs to step up though.

Donte has nothing to prove to me. He has been great all year and I don't see that changing. He is a pro and he carries himself the right way. I don't see him regressing moving forward.

OG wanted a bigger role and we saw some flashes the last couple games. His injury concerns me though. Is he really ready to take on more responsibility? Hopefully he is sooner than later.

Utah's on a b2b too. They got wrecked by the Nets last night.

It’s fair for some to still be a little skeptical with Donte. He’s scoring and shooting better than he ever has in his career this season.

Per 100 Possessions he’s been around an 18 ppg scorer since his 2nd season. While this season he’s at 26 ppg per 100 Possessions, and on even better efficiency. Offensively there’s no doubt that this is the best Donte has looked in his NBA career. Playing with his boy Brunson is a factor but he could have taken a leap too. Seems weird how he didnt score as much before because it looks pretty natural here.

His rebounding and assists are slightly down this season from his usual rates though. Which is crazy because hes been a very good rebounder and passer for us too. Just shows how all around he is and that he’s taking more shots. He was supposed to be kinda like Josh Hart but hes looking more like a less scoring Lavine with solid defense now or some sh*t lol.

Donte’s 3 ball has been cooling off lately, but now he’s scoring more in the paint and on middy pull ups. The guy is just good and finds ways to contribute, but hopefully his shooting stays hot as thats the biggest reason hes been so important.

While OG just has to stay attacking the rim working the in between game like he started doing. He’s too big, athletic, and can shoot too well to just stand in the corner or cut sometimes. As long as he’s healthy I think he’s ready for more offensive responsibility. Defense comes first for him but lets see whats in his bag.

You gotta think this .842 January win percentage will slow down now that Randle's out for a bit.

The funny thing about seeding is that I'd rather play Cleveland as a 4 or 5 seed than Miami, Indy or even Orlando in round one as the 2 or 3 seed.

I think Miami is finally done. Dont think Spoelstra can coach them back into greatness again...they just dont score enough and we are exponentially better when healthy.

Seems about right. Still I’d still rather face Donovan and Mobley than Jimmy and Bam.

I'm just saying Donte proved to me that he is up to the task. Brunson is also shooting the three at an amazing clip. It happens some years. Donte just seems like a smart player who can/will do more of his shot isn't working.

OG definitely should be allowed to do more than stand in a corner. That's a Thibs issue to me. I am just worried about his injury at the moment and whether or not he will aggravate it with a bigger role right now. I just want everyone to get healthy right now.

Mitch out, Randle out, OG doubtful, iShart limited.

Thibs just decimating the entire frontline.

Time for him to work on the backcourt.

Thibs is the real Brunson burner....burning the Brunson at both ends.

...and he's the one who pushed the pirate underneath Randle...that scallywag!!!
