Who knows the details but bone spurs are like small fragments and doesn't really hurt much or mean much. They take them out, you heal and should be fine. It's not arthritic as far as I know. It's kind of no big deal but you do have to heal of course.
Again not a doctor but doctors in the fam.
Possible it is a diff picture from a simple bone spur but 3 weeks doesn't suggest that.
