Sixers honestly didn't have any special plans for Brunson. They guarded him exactly the same way they did in the regular season. Oubre was just a lot more physical. Brunson had plenty of good looks that normally fall. I fully expect him to bounce back game 2. It was nice to see 7 rebounds and 7 assists out of him when he knew he didn't have it going.
There were a few looks early on where I felt he definitely forced it in the face of their coverage, he seemed to be pressing/had the yips. But to your point, he made sure to keep contributing even when the shots weren't there. I expect a 35 point performance in Game 2.
He was definitely rushing and sped up on many plays. He missed shots he normally makes but he definitely was pressing or anxious or whatever. Hopefully he settles down and makes the right plays.

Agreed. These guys are definitely way better than the Cavs last year. The other thing is that adjustments are still being made, so we’re gonna see how both teams counter each other’s strategies.

Low key trying to manipulate the reps into swallowing their whistles while they hack and whack Brunson and another Knicks players tonight.

as i said before this series, we're playing the 2nd round in the 1st round. it aint gonna be easy.

Clown has no shame. Openly rooted for Miami against us last year and even left in the 3rd quarter in a game earlier in the season we came back and won. I wish fans would boo him and let him have it.
