And yeah nah everyone has been great to me here, you included. I appreciate it more than you may know this board has been a place of fun and solace. I just wish folks would leave me alone the only team I care about that plays in BKN is The Liberty

Gonna be completely honest here. I didn't know you were actually a Knick fan now. I thought you were just here because the Net forum was just too dead.

I also remember not liking you at first because you trolled us after the Nets got KD + Irving lol

If I may ask, why did you stop being a Net fan?

I'll PM you, this question has been asked so much I hate talking about it anymore

Resurrecting this thread. Looks like he’s unhappy in Minny and is shooting career lows. Only way we can get him back is thru a 3 team deal. Or we get him back at the end of the season when he can be traded back to NY.

Get him back!

Yall still want Divo? He's not looking so good in Minny. I think we need to move on from this whole Nova Knicks idea.

A few posters didn’t understand that Leon traded Donte at his peak value. Imagine how tough it would’ve been to get any value for him if he started the season like this while here

Let's find out his current value and bring him home.

In the summer, we can either trade Mitch or sign and trade Achiuwa for Divo if we want Divo back that much

Minny will not trade DDV back to us. If we ever want him back, Minny has to trade him to a 3rd team first this trade deadline or this off-season. Then, we have to approach that third team and try to pry him loose from there and that's only *if* he forgives us for trading him and *if* we have a defined 25+ minute role for him. A lot of ifs...

Not sure they would want Mitch if they already have Gobert, Reid, Randle, Mcdaniels.

Three team trade. Like, Mitch to NOP, Divo Knicks, X to wolves. Or another 3rd team

He's struggling because he's not pseudo 2nd option, he looks like he did with the Kings, Warriors and Bucks. Last season was an anomaly and I'm good on him being traded, no need to bring him back, he's not going to play well off the bench, he never has.

its tough to watch divo right now. i personally think it has a lot to do with the environment and mindset you have. he probably enjoyed playing with his boys a lot more than playing in minny right now.

he needs to find his shot or his career can be over quick. a trade back to the knicks could save him. i dont think it has a lot to do with comming off the bench or starting. he could be a potential 6th man of the year, but not without a jumpshot. he needs his jumper to dall to get really going. His energy and motor is high, if hes in it and he plays passing lanes very well (with someone like gobert in the back even justified). Hes still a solid player but hes in his head, if his shot is not falling.

They also tried him at the 1 i believe. and he clearly is just a microwave player off the bench. at least on a good team.
im bout dat action boss

The way this team is looking, he should get the starting 2 spot, and move Mikal to the bench. We can theoretically 3 team trade, moving pieces like precious, and cam, both of which are players coming off the books at the end of the year to a team that still wants to compete this season and free up cap space at the end of it. If a team wants to bolster their bench, a team like the bucks come to mind. Taurean prince and Trent jr outgoing to the wolves, precious and cam to the bucks, divo to us. Just spitballing here but I feel like it could get done.
