It appears KAT will be the escapegoat for everything this season....with a side of hate for Terry Johnson, too, but he isn't making all the money so it won't be the same level for him.

Brunson already getting slandered though, he's not allowed to have a rough patch because he rarely does so when he does fickle fans turn on him in a NY minute.

Dude just put up 34 points with 16 rebounds. Some folks have really lost it  our scapegoat averages 23 & 13 on 51, 57, 91 percent shooting. I’d say we are really in trouble and likely won’t find a way out of this.

KAT has been the best player on the team. I understand the frustration that things aren't clicking right away but KAT is the least of my concerns when the starting 5 has three wings that are playing horrible D. Mikal needs to be better. A lot better.

I think this is just your standard growing pains and things will come together sooner than later. The style of the team changed drastically from last season so it's going to be a continuous process of learning and growing as a club and with that will come some failure.

Better to deal with this now, and not March/April/May/June

I think the Knicks will be in good shape this game. Milwaukee is on the 2nd game of a B2B, playing on the road with 2 starters out, and Damian Lillard having played 37 minutes last night.

Milwaukee has not beaten any team this year with a record close to .500. Their only wins are against the Sixers in last place in the East at 1-6 and the Jazz in last place in the West at 1-7.

We play well when Brunson doesn't run down the clock on every damn possession. Move the ball to keep the defense guessing. Simple as that.

1- KAT at 5 is not sustainable. He gives it all back on the defensive end. Bring Precious & Mitch back.
2- 5-out is never gonna happen under Thibs. Never.
3- JB is clearly out of shape and/or depressed right now. He'll come around at some point. He's a winner.
4- Mikal is being wasted. He needs a defensive big behind him to truly cook and he needs more plays run for him. Period.
5- Playing starters 38+ minutes a game on the regular will bite us in the butt. Tread carefully, Mr. Thibs!

I think Brunson hasn't been sharp and has been stagnating the offense, but I think it's way too early for people to just throw him to the Wolves, no pun intended.

For perspective, through 7 games:

25ppg/6apg on 46/46/81

If this is Brunson playing like dogsh*t, which he is, then I am not even remotely concerned long term.

This team will be fine. The process isn't going to be pretty, but they will get to where they need to be.

Brunson / Kolek
Bridges / McBride
Anunoby / Hart
Achiuwa / Dadiet
Towns / Hukporti

Brunson stuggled to run plays with Team USA too

Steph Curry has the same problem! But we should use him more off the ball and dont let the opp to overplay and tire him on any F possession

I want to see Thibs experiment with Hukporti and Towns on court together. It would at least give him some kind of simulacrum of what Mitch and Towns might look like.

Not going to happen tho'. Sims to get the 10 minutes of back up center time whilst KAT takes a breather, again. :|

Kat is doing fine defensively, not all the time he plays bad defense. the other players are part of the reason the defense isnt that good as well. it has to be cohesive.

Kat has to try harder at rim agreed. Team as a whole gotta play better and Thibs gotta coach better.
