Hukporti must look like absolute dog doodoo in practice because Thibs refused to give him shine ,even though it was looking like Gulliver's travels out there for most of the game. I like Preciou, mainly last years version...but I hope he's gets moved for Valunciunus. We need the smarts, we need the scoring and we need the size. And if that rumor that the Rockets are willing to trade Cam Whitemore for Simms is true I would be all over that too.

we played a pretty easy schedule in terms of limited b2b and time off in between games. The schedule is getting more condensed now. I just don't see it sustainable with the current rotations.

Brunson is what like 5 for his last 39 from 3...that just doesn't look like a shooting slump. Something is up.

OG has scored single digits in 6 out of his last 12 games. He started the season with 17 of his first 18 games being over double digits. Way more inconsistency from him.

KAT wasn't able to play tonight from an injury that is directly related to overuse.

Here's a novel idea, try something different, give the rookies a chance when a Two way player is on the floor. Why are you complaining about sims too? Your god is the reason why Sims is even playing tonight, since Tom left KAT in against the Bulls down 15 and he got injured, lets talk about that too. You want to criticize Sims, well then maybe the guy you're defending tooth and nail shouldn't have left his all-star C in the game when it was over. Sims playing is a direct result of the coach being an idiot

You sounding like DJ Hezidemiks right now and Tom is your Drake

KAT has already played in more games this year than all of the 2023 season. He’s played in more than half of games that he played in all of last season. NBA player who has been fighting injuries over the last few years is sitting out some games again because of some knee soreness, breaking news at 11!!!!!

But you deflecting again? We did try something different tonight, you just didn’t like the result because it doesn’t fit your narrative but reality is right there you just refuse to accept it. Maybe it’s not the coach that needs to try something different rather the President of basketball ops who needs to figure out what to do with 15 mil backup deadweight Center who still hasn’t played and also trying to get some actual rotation pieces in to bolster the bench. You can only pretend for so long but nights like tonight will expose things for what they really are.

LMAO, defending Thibs for KAT getting hurt in a game that was already over, the levels you're stooping to defend this man are insane.

You're talking to me like I'm the one that has a dozen posters saying I'm wrong, you got everyone in here saying you talking out the side of your neck. Let it go, you're embarrassing yourself. This isn't even trolling, this is psychosis and glazing I'm not really equipped to deal with. After you blamed KAT for his injury there's not much else to say, Thibs will never do anything wrong in your eyes, spare me the long winded posts I understand now that he is without any fault and is perfect.

The bench didn't lose the game dude. The starters should have smoked these bums and the bench would only need to not blow s 15+ point lead.

What bench?

Starters have been carrying us all season. They aren’t going to be great every night. We were at home and our bench got severely outplayed by the opponent bench in our own building. A good bench would have provided a spark and helped but ours provided nothing dude. On the road you can understand but at home it’s inexcusable. They just flat out suck

Magnificent performance by our fresh and energized spark plugs. If only our starters played less we would have totally blown out the Magic tonight with our amazing depth. Really enjoyed their performance, more minutes coach

In other words you think the team would be better off playing all starters 48 mins every game? Got it!

Cole Anthony had been barely in rotation for a few weeks, then injury happened to Suggs and he played and dropped 24 in this game. Even when his own coach Moshley thought Cole sucked when he gave him playing time, he produced.

Most NBA players when they're given playing time and trust, they produce.

Under coaches like Moshley, Daignault, Spo, Lue, aka the real coaches players like Huk, Kolek would be in rotation. They all can play, even Pac.

Take more risks, that's how the team you lead can thrive. Playing it safe is the riskiest move you can take, and we're all now paying for it dearly.

The bench talent is pure garbage. Healthy or not, tired or not, you cannot contend for a chip if you have the worst bench in the league.

Yes, you can. When the Nuggets won their ring, they did it based on largely a 6 man rotation in the playoffs. However, during the regular season, Malone kept the Nuggets main 6 at reasonable levels minutes-wise. Jokic was at 33.7.

They had guys like Zeke Nnaji, Vlatko Cancer, old ass Jeff Green, old ass Reggie playing. Some rookies who weren't ready like Braun or Bones. Even DeAndre. All those dudes were pretty much benched when it was playoff time.

We probably have a better bench than them, when guys are healthy tbh. But we should not be using playoff rotations in the regular season that quickly. We're not in must-in win mode yet. We should not be risking guys' health like this. It's not worth it, not at this moment.

I get what you're saying but to me the starters lost the game. The "Bench" consisted of 3 guys that didn't play a ton anyways. I thought Cam was fine. Precious was the only one that seemed bad.

Brunson was awful
OG was awful
Hart played like a clown
Sims seemed decent at 1st but always reminds us why we hate him

Bridges was very good.

I agree the bench sucks especially with McBride not playing. I still think thibs philosophy to treat every game as must win hurts in the long run. We would be better off having lost a few games due to playing too many guys compared to where we are now. Ending up losing games anyways because everyone is burnt out or banged up.

Ppl acting like we're saying that we have a dynamic bench is purposely letting the point go over their head for whatever reason. We want Thibs to be a better game manager. It's not complicated. Don't leave the starters in the game when you're up 20-30 late in the 4th. Don't sit your two ball handlers at the same time. Do a better job at staggering the damn lineup. Let Kolek play with KAT and set him up. Let JB go to work when you have Shamet on the floor. It's really not rocket science.

My dude I remember when this same whining took place because Jarrett Jack was playing over golden boy Stinkilikina. It’s nothing new.

And I’m not the one defending or putting blame on anybody because an NBA player has a sore knee. That’s you and it sounds ridiculous. If you don’t like seeing players get hurt maybe this ain’t the sport for you. I don’t watch golf but it sounds safer, maybe that’s more of your thing

Good vibes from that 9 game win streak are completely gone. The second half of that Okc game took a lot of steam out of this team.

I am sure they’ll course correct at some point, but I just don’t see this team beating the Celtics or Cavs or even the Magic come playoff time.

Something feels really off about this team.

Thibs rotations and the eventual collapse that happens every year remind me of that old TV commercial for drug abuse hotline or whatever it was. I sniff cocaine so I can work hard so I can make more money to buy more cocaine to work hard to make more money to buy more cocaine...over and over.

He raised the floor. His job is done. Who's next? He needs to go ASAP.

It's just to defend Thibs, that's all it is, a deflection point. The fact they're trying it in this game is ridiculous considering the Magic gave a two way player minutes and were without 3 starters.
