PG: Knicks lose to Lakers

You're our official Knicks role player scout because of Ayton, LaVine, DMitch, Randle you watch tons of Blazer, Bull, Cav, Wolf games enough you spot talent like Camara... doubt Blazers trade him tho, any other talent we should look out for ??

we actually just saw another one today, max christie. he played outstanding defense on brunson. the lakers put him in the starting lineup like a month ago and they've been very good since then. lakers won't trade him either though. they signed him to a 4 year extension over the summer for super cheap.

The teams 3 point defense was awful tonight. There’s been nights where the team over helps on drives, which is apart of Thibs schemes, but I don’t think that’s why we allowed so many open shots. We matched poorly and missed rotations more than over helping. Other nights I think you can blame him but tonight feels like it’s on the players. Brunson and Kat got cooked by the laker defense. Maybe there was a way for Thibs to execute offensive better but I’ll point the blame at the players.

Just really hoping OG’s injury isn’t serious. I knew it was only a matter of time before this happened. The guy regularly misses 30 games a year. Let’s just hope it’s way less than that.

Are sprains wear and tears injuries? I wouldn’t think so but I’m open to be persuaded that I’m wrong.

Ayton's had a good stretch of games.

It sucks Scoot is mid, or at least has been so far. That's not a bad collection of players if they had a centerpiece.

Yeah Christie's defense tonight was really good. The Lakers generally have gone from a turnstile to this, though their fans are saying this is the best they've seen defensively. They were just really up for tonight.

Brunson, Towns and Thibs were all trash tonight but if OG wasn’t hurt we’d still win this game IMO. Anyway, on to the next one and hopefully all three of the aforementioned guys could learn from this beat down.

yeah they are a center piece away from making some noise in the west. simons was supposed to make that leap for them but he kinda stayed the same. they are rolling lately though. blowing out the suns and just won 5 of their last 6 games. i always figured they were too good to be a tanking team. they should be a play in team with the talent they have. maybe they are finally figuring it out

precious had 15 points 15 rebounds 3 assists off the bench tonight. if there's any positive from this game it's this. he's been playing well lately

They're young though and the Lillard move is still fresh where they're still finding their identity. Simons is nice but he's like D'Angelo Russell nice where I don't think he has that extra bit of oomph to be a regular all star. I thought mayyyybe for Sharpe but he's stayed about that level too.

yeah they have youth on their side so plenty of time to figure it out. simon's is too inconsistent. he has random games where he looks like dame lite (actually destroyed dame the other day!) and then he has games where he looks like a lil bit like d'lo. maybe one day he puts it together. sharpe is really talented and is only 21. i think he will eventually be really good.

Not gonna win them all. Team had a good run just to play like trash tonight. Hope OG is OK. Good game Hart. Shamet is barely a rotation player. I’d like to see Pacome get some run while OG is out.

Shamet over Dadiet is a head scratcher TBH

And we need front court size and don't even try to roll out Hukporti for even a few minutes. Precious has helped, but it isn't enough

And don't get me started on Kolek when Cam was out there wilding tonight

We want Pacome but we know that we’re gonna get TJ Warren.

I asked about Warren in the GT because I'm not up to speed on his current abilities, but I thought Dadiet showed more than enough potential immediately to justify playing him and easing him into some kind of bench role. He's young, a willing if raw defender and he can shoot.

No trapping on defense. All drop coverage with KAT. No pick and roll on offense early to get KAT going. Just awful coaching and now og is gone
