I don’t think this happens without them already having a yes from whoever their guy is. Hopefully is Bryant, Wright or Hurley.

Realistically, it was the easiest way to address the question of what went wrong this postseason. At some point though, it becomes tinkering for tinkering’s sake. I don’t know, this feels weird.

Can't trade 12 players or even a few players under the second apron so firing the coach is easier. I don't like it but I understand it. Thibs had his fatal flaws but he was also the most successful coach we've had in decades and everyone should be thankful for what he was able to accomplish here. A lot of the younger fans now have good memories of playoff basketball and Thibs was a part of that. I totally get the frustrations about his rotations and lack of offensive gameplan. He wasn't perfect but he wasn't as awful as many here made out to be.

I just hope whoever now comes in here is the right guy. This could easily backfire on us.

However, with that said, I’m a knicks fan first and trust Leon to do the right thing, so whomever they hire I will trust it.

I don't think you watched the same series as everyone else has.

His rotations are stupid, and he went to the bench too late (during Game 3 of the conference finals  )

Ridiculous to think the KAT/Brunson pairing wasn't working because it was flawed. No, it wasn't working because our opponents were sticking their center on a non-shooter, when the evidence says you need 5 shooters to work a true 5-out offense.

We will never know but the fact is the Knicks gave away a 14 point lead in the last three minutes of a game under his watch and he decided to overhaul his rotation after we went down 0-2 and then we essentially went 2-2 after that. He didn’t do any favors to himself by the way he coached the series.

Big Knicks Energy don’t miss….

Begley hinted at it, BKE said it was a done deal.

It's Bryant's job to turn down IMO. Let's hope he doesn't go to PHX

I would he stunned if Leon doesn't have his replacement already locked in.
