Wait, no TD, then it has to be Fields. :(

I would much rather keep Fields. I like Crawford but not if it takes Landry.

I watched him for years as a Knicks, and saying he's "one of the best at breaking down defenses" is a laughable statement.

Nah, you couldn't have.

here is a nice clip of Crawford on a few of the teams he's played for.

Watch what he does to his defender on every single set.

the only thing worthwhile on that terrible and-1 style highlight show was gus johnson in the last 20 seconds.

No.

Chances of landing him if he's amnestied is very low IMO.

if he's bought out the chances are MUCH higher, provided the Knicks want him of course..

BTW- I checked out the Cavs board and didn't see anything on him being bought out. It's more likely he'll be amnestied meaning very unlikley he becomes a Knick.

I just hope we have this roster cemented by Monday. We need things solidified so we can gain some chemistry and cohesiveness asap.

It still would not change the fact that the most we could take back in a trade is 150%. Maybe we could circumvent that by first dealing with the Warriors and taking back 150% from them, then using what we get from the Warriors and sending that to the Hawks for the additional 150%?

I just don't know how else we would make it work.

If its something like Walker and Balkman for JC, then you pull the trigger and don't look back.

If you throw Fields in place of TD, forget it.

Exactly

If you can get Crawford for Walker and Balkman of course you do it.

You can't include Fields though, despite the fact that Crawford fills more of a positional need than him. Fields' ability to play without the ball and his 39% 3-point shooting are too good a fit for this roster, even if his minutes end up being limited.

Yep, It's Walker/Balkman S&T for Jamal thus far.

Source says Golden State not involved in possible 3-tm, sign and trade talks with Atl for Jamal Crawford. NY interest real though.

I'm not seeing that tweet as confirmation that it's just Walker/Balkman. How are you arriving at that?

After reading Berman's latest article it leads me to believe netting JC may not be as close to a reality as we've thought. We may just be being used as a bargaining tool.

How does that mean it's only Walker/Balkman?

If all we trade is Walker/Balkman i would be excited as f*ck!

Cant see it happening though, its robbery, and the Knicks arent allowed to get away with robbery, only get robbed.

The Hawks are trying to shed cap. Hence why not re-signing Jamal, adding T-Mac on the cheap, stopped their interest in DJ.

Not sure how this gets done tho.
