Has another year guaranteed on his deal for 20mil and 2019 can be bought out for $3million bucks so essentially, only 1 year guaranteed.
Would you trade Kanter for him? I expect Kanter to opt-in so money would be essentially the same.

It would be funny if we made that trade. I always pegged him as guy Phil would target.

I might actually prefer Lee/KOQ for him. It's probably better value for Sac but the Kanter move would create another logjam that stymies Frank's playing time.

I assume that allows to completely vanish Jarret Jack and Frank/Hill will be PG rotation for this and next season

Surprised to see a few scenarios posted about trading Kanter. Is that something you think might really happen?

Milwaukee has shown interest in him in the past for what that's worth.

Read on Twitter

Also per Sam Amick:

The Milwaukee Bucks are known to be among the teams that have interest, in part because coach Jason Kidd has had a front-row seat to some of Kanter’s best games in the past two seasons.

Give up Parker and we Gucci.

Even though I love Kanter's heart, I'd like to try out Jabari on this team.

I'm in. I would trade McBuckets for him honestly.

They were chatting for a while after the WAS game.

He probably wouldn’t see the floor unfortunately

If that happens, i would really like to get skal or wcs from sac.

Maybe this :

With ny receiving a pick. What do u guys think?

Maybe a 3 team trade with kanter going to bucks, bucks giving assets to sac and knicks sending like clee with this assets, knicks receiving maybe a second too

How about this?

MIL gets to keep Wilson. I don't think SAC wants to take on Delly without getting a pick, instead we involve DET who needs another PG and they send Galloway to MIL who would be a good fit.

We'd get maybe SAC's 2018 2nd or MIL 2020 2nd.

4 team trades are almost impossibl...

Besides that, mil will not send us jabari.

Out of curiosity, what kind of compensation would you be willing to offer in a deal similar to the one below? Let's assume this happens at the deadline, the grizzlies are blowing it up for a rebuild, and Conley has come back and looked healthy.

Knicks get: Conley
Grizzlies get: Noah, Lee

Conley plays well off the ball so could slot minutes at both the PG and SG positions which would allow Frank to still develop with plenty of playing time. Conley is slightly younger than Noah and Lee and financially is roughly the same except that he has one more year on his contract. Conley also brings a lot of playoff experience. I also realize you may prefer to just ride out Noah's contract and keep acquiring young players instead but thought this could be an interesting alternative to at least ponder.

No way do they do that deal. Conley is one of the best PG in the league. If they are rebuilding why would they want a big long contract in Noah and why do they want Lee?

I see about 95% of the trade ideas on this board is to dismantle every player thats older than 24. How do you know if that's Perry's agenda? If he sees us close to being a playoff team, he's going to add a veteran to help bolster our bench.

If the grizzlies rebuild then taking on a bad contract in Noah plus proper incentive is ok. Lee was to make the finances work but he could be shipped off to a third team for another bad contract and assets. I was curious what NYK would be willing to give up in that sort of deal. I'm not sure if it would be enough or not but then again I fear Conley may not return what most Grizzlies fans would deem fair. I doubt the Knicks would want to do this due to the amount of assets it would cost them but it was an interesting scenario so I pursued it.

I like OG as well but we can't give away 1st rounders especially unprotected anymore. OG is a beast though.

Let's not forget that the Raptors have absolutely no need whatsoever for Willy.

Return to New York Knicks
