Only plays one side of the ball, undersized and low release point. He's more likely the next Jimmer than the next Curry.

I dunno man.

Dude has a crazy offensive potential. Everyone thinks hes just a good shooter. But dude's elite passer too.

Yep. Everyone knows I’m not his biggest fan, but even I can see the allure. Defense/finishing /turnover issues, but he can score and is the second best passer in the draft.

He’s going to better than Jimmer.

Why aren't we taking **** contracts for picks. I tell Memphis we'll take Parsons and 4 for Lance, Lee and top 7 protected 2020. We'll also be keeping number 9 this year. This smokescreen bs about teams like Denver(who last I knew was trying to dump faried for 14) trying to move up is crap. That 4 pick becomes significantly less attractive to the knicks if Doncic is gone.

Yeah, not the kind we expected this time last year. Wise to gauge interest and have all the options on the table, even if we don't yet know what will happen.

As for Musa, who I see being discussed, in reading about him and watching interviews, it looks as if the back hunch isn't a medical issue, though I'm not sure how a more concave chest affects play. He says he's been doing strength training to straighten it out. I'm sure teams will do their due diligence. Lights out shooter, but with that frame, he'll have to use quickness and smarts, anticipation on D, because he's not bodying anybody out.

I think people are talking about additional picks with him, as well.

Yeah I heard that, but that kind of potential movement gets bandied about every year at this time. Sort of the first chess pieces at play. If it comes to that, I really don't think the Spurs move Kawhi at the draft unless they're blown away by the offer (and it's not the Lakers). We'll take the time we need to get the best offer, and if that means waiting a bit, so be it. It's our move now...

This pick will indicate much about the Knicks FO mindset in that there likely will be a perceived 'safe' pick in Mikal and one seen as a riskier 'upside' one with Knox.

Unprotected 2020, if knicks protect 2019 top 8 and they don’t get it is what I’d t put out there, and I’m 10000% against trading picks.

Maybe it has been discussed earlier but Porzingis was in the arena to watch the Spanish league (ACB) finals. I wouldn't be surprised if he would push the Knicks management to try to move up to grab Doncic.

But he’s not a good defender, and he was in the 44th percentile in catch and shoot situations (including only 57th in UNGUARDED situations). Him becoming a 3/D guy is far from certain.

It might be too late for that.

I think they have kyrie on the mind at this point. Luka’s going to be too expensive for us.

Memphis hangs up

Then let them. They want to make the playoffs and a deep run this season. We don't. What do you have to lose. You could even make 2019 top 8 protected. The hang up noone gives a ****, bit I think shedding 50 million dollars for a small market team would be helpful.

Thoughts?

I'm on board with Knox.
Drafting him is betting on Fiz because he needs to be coached.
He has a sweet shot with range, despite the mediocre percentages.
Really good in transition doing it himself or as a target.
Really creative around the rim in traffic. Natural born scorer. Smooth athlete.
Doesn't move the needle defensively and I don't know if he has any passing ability.
It's clear he's a few years away from even figuring out how good he can be and being comfortable in his body.
Has a lot to tighten up on but he has all the tools to be a very good player.
