The Liberty actually have 5 1st round pick in the top 15 (1, 9, 12, 13 and 15)

But yeah the Liberty is expected to take the one player that is better than everyone else...Sabrina Ionescu of Oregon. She's basically the female version of Luka Doncic with more relative athleticism. She would probably be the best PG if she was on the Knicks.

Had to look it up, they have 5 of the 12 first round picks. Simply absurd...

I'm torn cuz I love March madness but these kids deserve to be paid. If you're a top prospect is makes way more sense to get in with NBA development teams and their trainers then going to college. Hopefully the NCAA will change now that they're not the only game in town.

Still need to see a success story before it becomes a viable option. I'm all for the prospects getting their money, but we haven't seen a story in which makes it a safe path. Hopefully Green makes it to the league and becomes a hit because it is an interesting route to go. It would allow colleges to target players who want to development over the years and could potentially make college basketball more interesting in the long run.

Yeah I'm sure your Zion's and RJ's will go to the G league but someone like Ja will still go to college.

well this is only temporary, they will be able to go straight to the NBA in as early as 2022 from high school.

NCAA is def gonna have to make some changes now if they want top prospects to play there. Another 5 star recruit just announced he’s going to the G league as well. This is about to be a major game changer

I love college basketball but the NCAA is almost straight up evil sometimes. They deserve to get screwed.

Yeah but it makes me wonder if HS prospects go undrafted, if something like this is still an option. I know once you sign with an agent you lose college eligibility, but if the G-League is offer scholarships along with a salary it's quite interesting.

correct which is why the scholarship to go back is a huge deal. It mitigates all the risk for a high school player leaving college behind.

Yeah but I'm skeptical, I feel as if you go undrafted they'll take the full ride scholarship away. Either way it's definitely an interesting thing to watch when the time comes.

I think this is good for ncaa from a fan perspective. One and dones have ruined any kind of continuity with following college basketball teams. Let the sure fire nba players go to the 1 year g league program or go straight from high school and meanwhile ncaa can go back to being a true amateur student sport like it’s supposed to be

That's fcking awesome! College ball will still be fun to watch but it will have even less of the top talent. I can watch Division II basketball and still enjoy it. Root for the uniforms! Go BC.

The most underrated player in the draft! His quickness doesn't get brought up enough but this kid gets up the floor in a flash and he's got that jumper looking legit since his freshman year so now staying in front of him is going to be that much tougher.

I'm seriously thinking about trade down scenarios to pick him up somewhere in the late lotto

I'm all about drafting this kid with that Clips pick (if he drops that far) or even using the Charlotte and Clips pick to trade up some to get him and i'm good with drafting him no matter who we draft with our lottery pick even if it's a PG. He really came on as the season went on and showed up in some of the bigger games for Duke like that double OT game against NC.

- First overall pick with a star available.
- Four first round picks in the top 15.

Sabrina gonna beast and bring championships to the NY Liberty.

That's why I say Halliburton and move RJ to the 3. I also think RJ is working hard on his shot and I hope to see it improved come next season ... whenever that is. Two lefties is an issue. They're so weird, these lefties. RJ isn't even sure if he's lefty or not.

Why is having two lefties an issue but having two righties isn't??

Melo, I'm slow... what does that mean exactly? He can be drafted by a NBA team and sent directly to their G league affiliate?

Instead of going overseas to get paid, he's going to play in the G-League for a year and get paid before he can be drafted/signed. Where we've seen Brandon Jennings, Terrance Ferguson, Emmanual Mudiay are some cautionary tales that we've seen play out already do the overseas route, we haven't really seen many G-League routes, especially not elite standouts.

Isaiah Todd is another name to watch.

I thought i heard Todd was gonna do the same thing but i could be wrong.

They can choose their G League teams or they would have to participate of the G League draft?
