I think GS proved last year you have to risk it for the biscuit.

And CHi needed a center and got a very good one at a good price while also getting decent role players and now has a good amount to cap space with atop tier FA ranking to add maybe a missing piece.

Lowry? If anyone wants to give Lowry a 5 year deal through a sign and trade I will listen but it would cost you an asset

Also if the sign and trade rule is passed, whose free agent rating would be used to determine salary? For instance not to pick on anyone but since he just won the ship let's go with GSW.. GSW has a much better free agent rating then I do, if i were to do a sign and trade to get one of GSW players would we use GSW rating or CHA to determine salary?

yup feel good about the deal. Especially when my other one drops I need this extra cap space to eventually be able to buy out Tyler Johnson (don't want that contract hovering over my head). And it will free up another roster space for me to roster all my rookies.

Also Mikal really fits like a glove on Dallas roster but realistically I will not be good next year then Mikal becomes an expiring and I am not sure I will be in the position to sign him long term.

Terrence Davis was a great find by Deeeez. He now has a $2/4 year contract. And while the sim might not fully respect him next year it will be a long play with him because he shot 40% from 3 on decent volume and I assume when Lowry/Van Vleet move or at least one of them...Davis role will continue to improve. I'm sure hoffa can provide some feed back here

Yea Davis is a good get and your bang on once one of Lowry and FVV move on Davis will slide into the back up spot, but already is seeing pretty good burn on the court. Coach Nurse loves him... issue with this pandemic is that I could see FVV signing a 1 year deal as teams may not want to be handing out max contracts this off season, so Davis will have to wait until the Raptors sign Giannis for him to take over PG duties.

Utah and Chicago are in really good free agency position with the cap space they’ve opened up. That can’t go overlooked. I think Utah has a good shot to bring back Covington now.

The Toronto Raptors have agreed to trade DeMarcus Cousins and future considerations to the San Antonio Spurs along with Quinn Cook and Kendrick Nunn to the Portland Trailblazers in exchange for Jae Crowder, Luke Kennard and Marvin Bagley III.

The Atlanta Hawks have agreed to trade Harrison Barnes and the right to swap a 2022* 1st round draft pick to the Detroit Pistons in exchange for JaMychal Green, Andre Roberson and Justin Jackson.
*- Detroit has the right to swap any first round pick that they own at the time of the 2022 draft other than their worst one with Atlanta.

Yeah I do feel that it will be also a lot easier to potentially move Davis too because teams that have a bunch of stars that really don't have the space to bring in a $30 player. It opens up more possibilities but the plan is long term with Davis when I am good I can have a cheap rotational player. But obviously things can change if someone gives me something I find too good of value.

I probably could have traded Mikal for a future later protected 1st but my thought process was I guess I would be happy selecting a Davis in the late 1st and he doesn't come with that price tag.
