Still can’t believe that was a serious comment made by someone on this board. You don’t even need to point to other teams to prove that isn’t true. Knox lost his spot in the rotation just like 2 weeks ago. The length people will go to not admit they’re wrong is pretty astounding.

Completely violating league rules. Also obvious tank move, as we all know the only reason to ever start a young guy over a vet is to lose games, no rookie has ever been better than a vet.

I can see the Ball whine will be a Knicks fan pastime soon enough by people who think the Knicks could have traded up to get him.... just like Luka and every other player they didn't get.

Then alternately whine about the players could have gotten in the draft but didn't take....

Followed up with whining about the players the Knicks actually do get.

Which is topped off with whining about the coach and FO....

Rinse repeat...

I hope people realize that lamelo is only starting because of injury. First it was Roziers injury and now Graham’s. Lamelo been coming off the bench all year until the last week or so. So there is no need to praise the hornets like they doing something special the Knicks are not doing cause that is not true. Their fans have been begging for him to be in the starting line up since week one, but like Thibs they kept him on the bench to develop him from there.

They didn’t. They backed into it by getting lucky in the lottery.

We seem to be the only team where such luck is not permitted. At least we were 3rd in 2019 & got a cornerstone

Their defensive effort has been abysmal all year. They’ll win their share of games b/c there will be games like today where they get 3 20+ guys. But banking on that for every game to pull you out is a recipe for disaster when those other 2 are part of the recipe.

If they do make it, they look like first round fodder / gentleman sweep material right now.
