I have a feeling that if the Knicks can secure a bottom ten record, the NBA could look at us favorably in terms of how the draft order shakes out...

The Knicks got so much positive press last year for being a hardworking playoff team, imagine if there was actual elite young talent at MSG getting fans excited for the future and keeping the media coverage glowing.

I mean, the NBA put the Knicks on 29 nationally televised games this year following last year's success. Shows they were interested in putting us in front of more fans but obviously we failed those expectations this season. Maybe the draft order will work out for us.

You realize you do this all the time. You think you are being witty and smart but you are not. You literally do what you say the other person is doing. You are just too dumb to realize it.

It so interesting how Mathurin's role has changed over the season, and really encouraging to see him be successful with such a huge increasing in shot creation responsibility. I don't think he'd have a third of the driving attempts he had against UCLA in any game he played in 2-3 months ago.

This wasn’t the most efficient game from him but you can still see the potential. Showed some craftiness with a couple of his open court finishes, showed the floater, showed the midrange, and his end-to-end speed may actually be being a bit underrated, at this point.

I think TyTy is being helped by the fact there's not many good PGs coming out this year, or at least, none are highly ranked

What I look at is, I'm not the biggest fan of his offensive game. I think you should be able to hit mids, but that shouldn't be your go-to move. The encouraging thing is, he seems to be fine at shooting 3s off the catch, meaning he can coexist with other ball-dominant guys, more so than a Dejounte Murray, who's only at 31% off the catch, 29% off the dribble

You can argue that TyTy will be better with NBA spacing, have an easier time getting to the rim, but I can't say for sure

If he's still there when we pick at 8 or 9, we should absolutely take him. If I'm grading for us, I think Chet, Jabari, and Paolo are all too good to pass up even with the fact we need a guard, and Ivey is clearly up there with them but fits better. I'd put TyTy for us potentially at #5, I just need to see more of AJ Griffin, Benedict Mathurin, and Johnny Davis, I think those guys are in contention for me right now, but subject to change. Then I know guys are high on Shaedon Sharpe, but I can't quantify someone I can't watch, and I know my ability to scout high school is dog sh*t (college I'm not much better on, but it is noticeably better), so I have no frame of reference for him. I just don't have the ability to say, so I just don't know where to put him

But I guess that's my early board, top 4 of Chet, Jabari, Paolo, and Ivey, with Griffin, Mathurin, TyTy, Davis, and Sharpe in the next tier

I'll start to look more as where we're picking becomes more clear, but for right now, I have to say TyTy if we end up outside the top 4, then if we do get top 4, Ivey makes the most sense based on skill set and ability, while Chet may be the most boom or bust pick.

I’d probably do that. Ivey has great potential but SGA is a proven commodity. I guess you’d have to hear what the other outgoing parts would be, but if I can keep RJ/Grimes/Cam and send out #4 with guys like IQ and Obi, I’m pulling the trigger.

Hating on TyTy is dumb. For where the Knicks are expected to pick he is a good prospect to have. Its been proven for like the last 7 years +. Judging a UK guard by what he did in college is dumb. None of current Crop of UK guards of the last 7 years or so looked that good college.



The only one who looked decent was Fox which is why he went high.

Check the slots of all of the others ones who are considered "studs" now in the NBA. They all was picked passed 10 and have EASILY out played they draft spot.

Even Bam Looked suspect in College and dude came into the NBA feasting.

You cant judge UK players from what they do in college they way you do other programs. Cal Treats them Different.

Nobody is saying pick the dude top 5. So anything after that is just noise.

I can pull up the same "meh" talk about Maxey.

Now everybody butt hurt that we dont have him. Even pro scouts couldn't see the talent Maxey had which is why he went so damn late in the draft.

So any dude yapping in here just needs to STFU about TyTy considering where we are expected to pick a player.
