Russ looks terrible. He tore it up vs a horrible Dallas D and two complete duds.

Daboll, Schoen, and company have to be feeling the heat (deservingly so). There will probably be significant pressure to play Dart

With the way we look I’d be stunned if it isn’t next week. The seat for Daboll and Schoen has to be insanely hot and they are probably getting desperate

Lol, awful. 2 of the biggest plays we called Russ keepers. Can’t even get Nabers the ball.

Aside from Russ not being good the least you would for is for him to throw toward a receiver and not stare down his qb.

I don't know when you want to start Dart though.

Chargers
@Saints
Eagles
@Broncos
@Eagles
49ers

those are some of the best defenses in the NFL over the next 6 weeks. If you play him vs the Saints then you have the 4 hardest games in a row all season which isn't ideal.

I think Nov. 9th makes the most sense.

With the way the season is going I’d be stunned if Daboll and/or Schoen are here by Nov 9th unless things dramatically change or Dart is inserted earlier

Side note: if Dart comes in and plays well. We need to still can Daboll and Schoen. They are not good and we can’t accept a single hit and forgive all of the rest of this mess

When has Mara ever fired someone mid year?

You’re probably right… shouldn’t have brought them back and things are going to get insanely ugly with this schedule. Already seeing signs of people quitting and it’s game 3.

We won’t do anything until Mara completely removes himself from the hiring process. He’s proven time after time that he can’t make the right decisions

I am numb to this joke of a franchise, and since no one's gonna say it, I am: They have to nuke it and start from Ground Zero

-Coaching staff: GONE
-Players (every single one): GONE
-Ownership: SELL YOUR MAJORITY TO AN ENTREPRENEUR OR TECH BILLIONAIRE WHO WILL CLEAN THE SLUDGE THIS FRANCHISE CREATED.

I have never been so disgusted and betrayed by a franchise who would rather con the fans and the shareholders than put out a competent team. They have to start from Ground Zero, because that's the only way they're gonna clean the disgusting sludge this ownership has created for a decade. John Mara should sell his majority ownership to a person who not only has the money but the grapefruits to bring this franchise back to where it needs to be.

Until that happens, this will never, ever, get better. I would rather jump to being a Chargers fan than jump to the Eagles, Commanders, Cowboys, or even the freaking Steelers.

BTW, both Saquon and Daniel Jones just gave Mara the finger.

Oh I get it. There is a ton of pressure on him to play now. But I think the plan was always Nov 9th.

The schedule softens up at least from going against top flight defenses.

@CHI
GB
@DET
@NE
WASH
MIN
@LV
DAL

that is not a crazy schedule for a young QB to get his feet wet.

Everyone is going to point to the @Saints game as the best landing spot and while I agree I don’t want a scenario where he looks good for 1 week. Then has probably the hardest 4 game stretch of the entire season playing Eagles, Broncos (on road), Eagles (on road), and 49ers. That is currently 3 undefeated teams and on of the best defenses in football on the road in Denver.

Imagine after one week he gets smacked around for 4 straight weeks what it could do to him.

I know they are getting a ton of pressure to go to Dart now because outside of throwing moon balls the offense doesn’t move with Russ because he either throws a deep ball or check down…there is nothing over the middle of the field.

But the pressure is mounting…I’m just saying for Dart’s development they should wait until the Bears game in early Nov. But it’s a fair question to say how they are going to be able to save face until then. Its over a month of likely more **** play. The noise will be loud.

Yea, I agree with you. I am in no rush for Dart. At least wait until after the 2nd eagles game at philly. At least Andrew Thomas looked good, and obviously need him healthy.

Daboll might not make it thru that stretch. Or I dunno, maybe they give him some games with Dart. Just cant see him survivng this season barring a miracle. They might as well just get rid of him now. From the jump he was pretty much a lame duck head coach. Dont even know how Schoen survives this season. Its just a mess.

IMO y'all should just let Dart sit the whole year

I think that's best for QB development these days

Of course, if that were the case, you should've replaced the entire staff so that it would be clear he was the FO's guy going forward, cause if you fire Daboll and Schoen, instead of getting the best FO, you're kinda tied to needing guys who want Dart

And like we're seeing in Houston, you need at least a decent O line to develop a QB, throwing one behind a bad O line is detrimental to their growth.
BaF Lakers:

Nikola Topic/Kasparas Jakucionis
VJ Edgecombe/Jrue Holiday
Shaedon Sharpe/Cedric Coward
Kyle Filipowski/Collin Murray-Boyles
Alex Sarr/Clint Capela

Bench: Malcolm Brogdon/Hansen Yang/Rocco Zikarsky/RJ Luis Jr.

I just don't see Mara pulling the plug on Daboll during the season. Because then he would look like a dummy. Let the GM/HC pick there next QB and then don't even let him coach that QB.

I think Daboll gets the year. Again I'm not really focused on Wins/Losses I want to see the team play a good brand of football and see what Daboll does to dart.

So far the brand of football sucks...it looks like we continue to get outcoached. To the point even if Dart looks good I have zero interest in bringing back this regime even if they look like they got the QB right. Its getting that bad.

But Mara will be Mara.

I think its important for him to play this year at some point and take his lumps. As long as the offensive line is in ok shape. Which is was yesterday and as long as Andrew Thomas is on the field it should be fine.

Eli says it was very important to take his lumps the year before halfway through the year.

I'm in no rush to play Dart over the next few weeks. But for last 8 games or so it makes sense. Especially if your firing Schoen/Daboll. You need to give a new GM/HC so game tape to see a guy they didn't draft and if they want to invest in him. Because we will likely be picking in top 5 again.
