from what i know bryant is known as a development coach and a guy that players like. i don't know that he's established himself in an way as far as specific defensive or offensive philosophies.

As long as they aren't bad schemes like continuing to play KAT in drop or offensively just have a bunch of players stand around I will trust him to have a more analytical approach which is needed.

if there's one guy I'd look to trade, it's Josh Hart

love the hustle and all the energy, but in the playoffs, he's kinda a liability when we need half-court offense. White Donte was more valuable to this squad than Hart b/c in addition to being a solid defender, he could shoot lights out, and we need someone who can come off of screens and hit catch and shoot 3's. Hart is a great rebounder and can score in transition, but we need more utility than that for the playoffs. his defense isn't lockdown enough to warrant playing him that many minutes either given the rest of his skillset.

at 19.4M, he's quite tradable, and I'm sure plenty of other teams could use him. Hate to break up the chemistry, but I'd rather keep Jalen, Mikal, OG, KAT in tact and the only other tradable assets (in terms of sending out salary) are Hart, Mitch, and Deuce

i can't abide this. kat was doing this on his own. he wasn't supposed to. unless you think two respected beat reporters made that up. the offense maybe wasn't structured enough but you can't blame thibs for kat dropping back.

The ceiling was a top 4 team in the league and a bit of randomness away from being in the finals (where who knows what would happen). This was a complete miscarriage but we will see what happens next. Will Rick Brunson still be on the staff? Lots of questions....

Next year we would have been a legit chance at the #1 seed.

This the funniest part to me y'all have him KAT the week of training camp, Mitch was out all year, and Thibs had to figure it out on the spot. Now he's fired and another coach has to basically go through all these growing pains again? We don't have a LeBron, a Giannis, a Jokic, etc. How are they expecting to win without at least a coach for continuity and creating a winning and stable franchise? Our floor being 37-45 was a big deal and now we're in limbo.

Whoever it is has to use early staggered lineups. The starters only need about 15-18 mins together. Keep guys fresh and have an attack strategy for each lineup. If I see another high pick and roll that takes 15 seconds to setup I will puke.

The bad part of this for us older Knicks fans is it seemed the Knicks were finally a stable organization with a good culture….no more going through Presidents/GM’s/Coaches….finally felt like a solid run Team …..even if we get a new coach that is successful….which I hope happens….just brings back a bit of PTSD….

i do feel that. felt like we were establishing a heat/spurs like atmosphere where we have continuity for a long time. you never know how these things go.

Jackson set the culture, Kerr perfected it. Maybe we'll have the same transition.

They were talking about it when they featured Dolan on the "Roommates" show.

Also, there was a report that Dolan made a special trip into the locker room to endorse Huk..which obviously showed that Dolan expects him to play.

Yes you can.

During the regular season it's what we ran it's our shell if your telling me we made some slight adjustments in the playoffs sure. If your telling me that nearly every possession KAT was messing up then it's still on him for not coaching him.

All regular season I was yelling to run more defensive coverages like switch so the team gets acclimated with communicating and being prepared for teams that shoot. But the we want to make changed in the playoffs and just assume everyone is on the same page?

You can't tell me as a coach in the playoffs if a guy continues to mess up what you want excuted how do you continue to let him do it? That makes no sense to me.

The cavs had key injuries Sham...I think Indy is just on a magical run to be honest. As much as I hate everything associated with Indy -especially Reggie Miller. Everything has been going their way and I wouldnt be surprised if that happened when they play OKC.
