Wow, the Hawks are getting manhandled by the Craptors. I really thought that after beating the Knicks yesterday it would turn their season around.

I think it turned our season around instead.

Melo's teams always have problems with on-court chemistry for some reason.

Donovan Mitchell is destroying the Bucks

Happy to see him land in a great situation, Utah was a really nice place for him

Happy birth DSjr. Your birthday present could have been better but at least it was a win. Just had the smell of rotten eggs coming from OKC. OKC has a long way to go to be taken seriously.

Not one poster has drawn up a perfect comparison for Donovan Mitchell. I myself am struggling as well and would LOVE peoples opinion on this. To me this is what I see:

-Undersized SG
-Feisty Defenser
-Excellent Range
-Good 3PT Shooting with 37-39% Upside
-Ability to split defenders
-Likes to attack but not a ton of FT
-Good head on shoulders
-Very confident
-Shaky as a true PG
-Not a real playmaker
-Can he make teammates better?

Truth is outside of Frank he was the ONLY person I wanted. Deep down I am trying to figure out who he can become and I am puzzled. Quite frankly I haven’t seen someone nail the comparison yet and I am excited to hear what people think.

He is an elite 2 way combo guard. He'll get better at distributing as teams begin to load up on him defensively.

In terms of comparison; he is Bledsoe with elite defensive traits and a smoother stroke. Loved him as we got further in the draft process.

And Dennis Smith Jr. putting up a nice statline:
6-14 for 15pts, 4 assists, 4 TO's, played no defense, they won and he still managed a -15 +-

Sound familiar? I am glad we didn't get the guy. Mitchel on the other hand... (Not sure I want a 6'3" SG, but he does play D. 2 years older than Frank though...)

Melo did it to himself

Him in Portland along with KOQ and Lee could've been a better option

Better chemistry with their backcourt and much better coachin with Stots at the helm.

Nurkic/O'Quinn
Anthony/Vonleh
Lee/Connaughton
McColloum/Turner
Lillard/Napier/Wade?!

Sounds like Avery Bradley to me with slightly better handles
Bet with Stillwater Celtics will finish 6th or higher in ECF Standings Regular Season(17-18). [WON]

wow. i'd like to know a bit more, like what was actually said to giannis. if true, i'm going to see giannis in a different way now. won't be as much of a fan, unless he publicly apologizes to the coach.

If Mitchell is an undersized SG who needs a few years to get more "PGish", maybe we should have taken him, since it seems like Frank'll need a few years to turn into an NBA player as well.

Oh well.

I like Bradley as a player, but he doesnt hold a candle to Donovan Mitchell. Not now, not when Avery was a rookie, and not 3 years from now.

Yeah, I hate the AB comparison... I've been trying to find a comparison as well and have had no luck. He has twitchy athleticism. Pitino's best pro from Louisville.
