How? They dont have picks for the longest time and the lakers are still the free agents destination of choice in la.

He might have had an argument if Mills were still running the show. Rose gets some leeway I think.

Has always been overrated in my opinion. We could have coached that championship team and won. Rondo/Ray/Garnett and Pierce are all HOFs and were in their prime. Rivers got waaay too much credit.

Kawhi should’ve stayed in Toronto, he let his uncle get in his head. He’s regressed as a player.

Clippers need to fire Doc Rivers.

It all comes down to ownership and a competent front office for people to make a judgment on the destiny of a team.

The Clippers lost CP3, Blake Griffin and DAJ and still managed to win close to 50 games in the 2018-19 season and lure Kawhi Leonard in free agency.

The Knicks lost two of their best players of recent history in Melo and KP but have yet to establish a winning culture and have been spurned by every superstar free agent since.

Even if Kawhi and George have intentions of opting out of their contracts in 2 years, the Clippers can trade them and receive a hefty amount of assets back.

Aside from maybe RJ, the Knicks do not have any pieces that will make them into a winning team 5 or 6 years from now. No one knows if RJ would even want to continue being a Knick if he somehow develops into an elite player. I would be more optimistic if the Knicks had the tendency to win lotteries, draft better talent and attract top free agents.

Even with the Rose hiring, you get the feeling that Dolan will force his way into some kneejerk moves knowing that the Nets could be the center of attention if KD comes back strong and BK is contending. We saw him do this even when the Knicks had a very good team executive in Donnie Walsh.

That was an epic collapse by the Clippers. Paul George is shockingly inconsistent, I remember him vividly during his early days with the Pacers and am shocked on how his game has slipped on the offensive end.

Kawhi had a terrible game himself but that's more of an outlier for him compared to George who has stunk for the majority of the playoffs. I wonder what PG's trade value is at this moment- it doesn't seem like him and Kawhi are a great fit.

The best 2nd option for the Clippers would be a 2 way wing who can shoot the 3 at a high clip.

It'll be interesting to see what happens to Doc Rivers as well. I'm assuming Ballmer will keep him but Doc has underachieved now for quite some time. I wouldn't be surprised if he got fired this offseason. Losing in the manner they did is unacceptable.

Is there any way the Knicks can take advantage of the clippers underperforming? That’s all I want to know.

Way off P in a two-horse race with Pandemic P for best nickname in the NBA

You can’t convince me having a moron like Marcus Morris on the team didn’t drag this team down. The Clips lost their focus when he tried to bully Milsap or whoever, and gave the Nuggets new life.

Kawhi’s lack of leadership was glaring in this series.

Between the Paul George and Marcus Morris trades, the Clippers really don’t have have much in the way of trade assets left. I think their only course of action is to re-sign all their guys and hope a mid season trade emerges.

I still remember how deflating it was when the Warriors drafted Steph one spot ahead of us, when it was known Steph wanted to play in New York under Mike D’Antoni and refused to work out for Golden State.

It was such a disappointment then, yet no one could’ve imagined how bad it would turn out to be. We really went from drafting a top 10-top 15 player all-time and the 2nd best PG ever to selecting Jordan Hill.

In retrospect, there was a move to be made with the Wolves to jump up the Warriors. But as always, Donnie Walsh wasn’t bold enough to get what he wanted. He was a decent but soft GM.

As bad as "Pandemic P" was let's not forget who chose him to play there with him, Kawhi deserves some blame. The excuses the Clips made after the game were pathetic.

Not even shocked. I've been saying it since last year, the Lakers are winning the next 3 titles. Lebron is going to get 6. The Clippers were never going to beat the Lakers. The whole thing just feels fixed for Lebron.

I am rooting for them in the WCF. They are a special team. They're making history with all these comebacks

Speaking of chemistry.. Morris kinda killed the Clipper's chemistry after he tried to fight Milsap.

Oh easily my guy. Denver is the team I hope wins.

I hate the heat and boston just because well we are the knicks (even though they both have likable teams  )

And well f*ck the lakers too even though AD is one of my guys.

Tough not to root for Denver and Malone (who basically go his start with JVG and the Knicks). Denver team is easy to root for...it just seems like they have to get down 3-1 in a series to turn it up a notch
