WE ARE NO DOUBT IN THE WORST POSITION IN THE ENTIRE LEAGUE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

AND IT ISNT EVEN CLOSE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I know we lack high-end talent. We have a lot of good players/projects but not sure perennial stars. But the grass is always greener on the other side.

There is a lot of players not better than Randle and RJ right now in your relation: Huerter, Garland, Klay Thompson (after injury), Cole, Suggs, Franz, Giddey, DMitch, Maxey, Keldon Johson, CJ, Jalen Green, Segun etc.

They have the potential to be better than RJ and Randle but it's a huge reach to say for sure they will.

From the young guys only Morant, Zion, Herro, LaMello, Edwards, Haliburton, Cade, Mobley and Barnes are really outstanding players until now.

Besides, if Randle get his shot back, he would be in the level of Sabonis, Brogdon, 36 years Lowry, Myles Bridges, etc.

Every single player I named is better than Rj & Randle and it really isn’t close!!!!!!!!

As it pertains to Randle this is who he is!!!!!!!!!!!

Last year was a fluke!!!!!!!!!!!

How you gonna forget about Burks+IQ!!

Sigh* they all said he was too 3&D, but it was that 3&D that got him minutes on the court so that he could actually learn and develop. I’m just hoping Knox can get that aspect of the game down now.

That’s Miles not Mikal. I always said Miles was more talented and had more potential

It was both. Miles still started off as a solid 3&D guy IMO. They still thought he had less potential than Knox.

Miles had elite athleticism and much better ball handling and play making ability which made him a more skilled player than just 3 and D

He’s always had elite athleticism, I agree there. I think the best way to really tackle this is to just dig through old college scouting reports to see how scouts saw him. If you look at them, a lot of them didn’t project Miles as a star. It’s names like Jae Crowder and stuff. Most guys projected him as a role player. And when I mean 3 and D, it doesn’t mean that he can’t cut and do whatever. Just means that he’s an off ball player, who can provide value even when he doesn’t have the ball.

I think that gets to my point. Like you said, he has traits that give him potential. But because he was penciled in as a 3 and D in the beginning, that gave him a role in which he could get playing time, and then develop those gifts. I see Toppin as a similar case. Those traits (even if they’re still developing) are going to give him a chance to stay on the floor, and after that, Toppin is going to have a chance to figure out how to best use the rest of his gifts. Hopefully Barrett too.

I think that’s what got me about the Knox pick. How else was Knox gonna provide value? What did he show in college?

Funniest narrative in NBA history:

AD will carry LeBron as he ages and gets past his prime.
