I mean no sane basketball fan would entertain BI vs Zion. Everyone is taking Zion. But melo has multiple people in his snare.

Ingram is the better player.

Rj vs Randle Letss Gooo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Looks like Randle demolished them with another strong 24 pts 9 rebs 5 ast performance on an efficient 9-16 shooting. Easily on track for 4x all star pace

Can’t blame RJ not wanting to face this beast and refusing to play

KD also brings the ball up from his knees when shooting. Mikal is in good company!

One more big push before he calls time. JJ is clearly doing some good stuff with the squad. AD beasting too.

They are a chance in the West?!

just watched Lakers - Kings. this takeover with 16 straight points at almost 40 years old is basically not possible.

Russ 2-18 from the field and 1-9 from three in the first two games. Just kudos to him for tricking the 5th team in 6 season into thinking he could be some some kind of answer. keep getting dem checks!

Reduced role? He's been hurt. Picking Ingram over Zion would be like the Warriors picking Ellis over Curry. They have the internal data, they have seen both, they want the show to be run by Zion, which is why every move they've made the last year has been about him.

They literally won 49 games this past season when he played 70 games. His role has been reduced compared and it got them to the playoffs.

Choosing Ingram over Zion isn't even close to choosing Ellis over Curry.. what you talking about?

We just saw last night that the Pelicans still trust Ingram over Zion when it comes to taking the game winning shot. That pretty much is self explanatory.

Zion is twice the player Ingram is.

Ingram's a ball stopper who scores on middling efficiency and who struggles to fit into any collective system.

He may have better shot creation skills in crunch time but Zion's a far superior player.

The Pelicans had a more successful season than the two previous seasons in large part because Zion played 70 games vs 29 and 0 the two years prior.

Ingram raises their talent level but I don't think he has any significant impact on winning for them.

When Zion's usage was the highest they won just 31 games. His impact is very small. His defense is also Enes Kanter level bad. That's one of the biggest reasons why he has such little impact. He's a big liability.

Yeah, choosing to build around the less efficient player that has redundancy with your franchise player. The Warriors picked Curry over Ellis, just like the Pelicans are picking Zion over Ingram.

Zion was the leading scorer, despite having the ball less than Ingram, hence why they want the ball in Murray and Zion's hands with two 3 & D guys flanking them. The two guys who are replacing Ingram both had better net ratings than him last year.

Them not extending him is self explanatory too. I'm not sure why you're riding for Ingram, he's not a Knick, he will never be a Knick and we're better off without him.

Curry is a generational player. Zion ain't that. So that comparison is like comparing apples to oranges. Zion is a worse Randle.

Mf you trying to use net rating now when you said you didn't care about it when they all have KAT as a losing player

Zion wasn't the leading scorer last night. Hawkins was.

I'm not riding for Ingram and actually not much of a fan of his. Was just saying it was better to go all in on him than Mikal if we want to be up there with Boston. Clearly, we're way behind from Boston with the moves we made.

I've expressed skepticism and shared my concerns about the Mikal trade, but I think he's a better team player than Ingram. Between the two, I'm taking Mikal without much hesitation. Ingram's a solo act and not a great one at that - Mikal has at least proven his ability to contribute to a team with legitimate championship aspirations.

Mikal had the luxury of being on teams with KD, Booker, Ayton, CP3. Ingram never had that. The best he's had was an washed up CJ Mcollum and a fat zion that's injury prone.
