I didn't wish Chit... I simply said Watson is a better PG than anyone we had. guys can come with their numbers... I'm coming with my eyes... when it comes to running the point Watson is better at it than Felton.

My eyes say other wise. Guess we'll have agree 2 disagree on this-1

MSG will sell out regardless....the only thing that is going to change is the demographic of the fans imo

Seats will be filled regardless, but they will be missing the Jersey sales that they would get from the Asian community. They will also lose the chance on gaining the market outside of the US. With Lin they can make the Knicks into a global icon like the Yankees

Not just the Asian community. Those were selling everywhere like hot cakes to kids especially.

i don't think felton is that good, dont get me wrong.

but CJ Watson shot a whopping 36% from the field last year and 24% from the field in the playoffs...lets not make CJ Watson into this good player.

Pg's dont get paid to make shots they get paid to run teams and get W's.

CJ Watson is a slightly better version of Tony Douglas, he is a shoot first PG that isn't a good passer.

He has never been a guy to run an offense. He is a 3 point shooting PG. He doesn't drive at all. He comes of screens and shoots. So if he shoots poorly he is pretty terrible

He led his team into the playoffs after their team suffered a soul crushing injury... TD could never... Felton could never have done that.

Opposing fans are ALWAYS laughing at the Knicks. They're just that kind of organization.

Stern should intervene. This is an extinction level event.

Did something change?

1. When did Lin get 2 offer sheets? I thought there was a verbal agreement and then Houston increased the offer with one offer sheet.

2. When did the Knicks offer lin a 2 year contract? Is that truth or just something SAS said? I thought NYK offered the QO (1 million) and told Lin to find his market value.

3. If Lin verbally agreed to the first offer, how could he have rejected it and asked for more money? Did you ever think that maybe, Houston wanted and needed him since they have no other PG's?

Nah chandler is also a bad guy. It's very rare for the 2 best players on a team to have such serious difference with a 2nd-year player that they're willing to have the team get worse just to have that player off the team.

People are shrugging this off, but if this really boils down to bad blood that is beyond pathetic and raises serious doubts about whether our core has the mental-makeup foc us to contend.

In my opinion we still have the best young talent on last year's team still on the roster. Shump>>>Lin. Be happy we still have him and he isnt going anywhere. Shump upside in my opinion is light years ahead of Lin. From a defensive mindset way ahead and his offense is something he can definitely improve.

Most would agree and that's why most weren't willing to part with Shump even for Nash. That doesn't mean we have to choose one. We can't have another young talent on the team?

I agree but a lot of people fail to realize that when Jeremy Lin signed that offer sheet that had 14-15 mil in that third year that it may hamper is chances of wearing a NYK jersey next season. With Melo and companies contracts it would be stupid for the Knicks to match. In my opinion Jeremy signed his chance away. If you feel Jeremy is worth 14-15 million in 3 years then the Knicks should match. With the tax it would be almost 30 million. Lin himself can bring unbelievable revenue in, but in a basketball sense if you think he is worth that much in 3 years then i do not think you know basketball. His upside is promising but it isnt worth 30 million dollars. If he does become a great point guard then we can resign him in 4 years. But it right now the Knicks are doing a smart move business wise.

I said Melo just wasn't that media-savvy which is why he's perceived the way that he is. Chandler's not being that media savvy right now either. That said, both of them aren't wrong. The Rocket contract is ridiculous. But I really hope the Knicks keep Lin anyways.
