No, trade exception is no different than free agent exception. They eat cap space until they are renounced. There are no free lunches in the CBA.
I again agree with you that nothing is certain until deals are finalized, but again, it would be highly unusual for a team to retract an offer like that.

Context, I didn't feel like I "had" to note anything. i was compelled to respond for the exact same reason you've felt compelled to note your theory repeatedly. Like you, I'm adding my perspective to the discourse.
Why do defensive? You're allowed to repeat the same theory multiple times a day. I can't add some context (boom!) to your old, repeated theory as new developments arise?
