that probably makes the most sense. I think if CLE can turn love into Melo + a role player or two that might make there team better overall.

Unfortunately, CLE and BOS are rivals and historically NY and BOS are rivals, so this probably wouldn't happen..

But in the long run it makes all our teams better

That makes no sense for Boston. Bradley alone is more of a difference maker than Love.

I agree. But I don't see Cleveland doing just Love for Melo. They're going to need something else to fill the gap. Our haul is bigger in that trade than what Indy and Chicago got for Butler and PG combined. We're not getting all of that.

Bradley is not more of a difference maker than Love...not even close..

We have no business even considering "rivals" at this time. We need to improve our position 5 years out.

cmon man Love is not that much better then Olynk. If ainge wouldnt give up anything for george why would he give up the farm for a marginal upgrade over an existing player lol

Love is still good, man lol He just has two volume shooters next to him. Look back at his season with Minny. He can be a really good #2 on almost any team. I think a more fair trade is:

Knicks Gets: Crowder, Cle 1st
Cleveland Gets: Melo, Bradley
Boston Gets: Love, Shumpert (there may be someone better than Shumpet to insert here)

BOS: Crowder, Bradley for Love, Shumpert
NY: Melo for Crowder, Cle 1st
CLE: Love for Melo and Bradlet
