Luke Walton doesn't like him. Not the first coach to have issues with Hield, I remember Joerger getting into it with him because of his shot selection. He's also been getting cooked on defense and his ball handling/playmaking just isn't that good.

Not sure in what shape the Pelicans are financially but it would be foolish for them not to match any offer for BI.

Am hoping though that this trend continues and NOLA gets doubts about his long-term compatibility with Zion. Last thing Pelicans will want is paying someone max money who later on would underperform.

This would make them more open-minded to a trade similar to what the Pacers did in getting Brogdon from the Bucks.
