Horrible defense, bad overall hitting against a 7+ ERA pitcher and albatross pitching lead to another Yankee loss.

I was hoping that MLB would schedule the entire postseason at Yankee Stadium since the Yankees turn into the Bad News Bears whenever they are not playing in the Bronx.

Seriously, if you can't be consistent or win on the road versus inferior competition you aren't going to cut it in the playoffs. It is an absolute embarrassment that the Yankees were blown out in 3 of their last 4 games by teams who the rest of the league have little difficulty beating.

I'm so sick of Stanton and his $153 million dollar contract stealing away money from this team. If he isn't going to stay healthy and live up to what the Yankees are paying him to do maybe he should retire and become a CNN analyst since he loves to be politically correct.

And can we all agree that Gary Sanchez is the worst player in baseball? Get his lazy and unmotivated azz the hell out of here! It is nauseating that Aaron Boone and Brian Cashman don't demand that he be benched for multiple games because they are afraid of hurting his feelings or causing dissension inside the clubhouse.

I’m not gonna get too excited this is how this team performs when you do.

It wouldn’t suprise me if Tanaka pitched the way he did on purpose. It’s not uncommon for veteran pitchers to pitch like crap their last regular season start before playoffs. I remember CC was horrible his last start in 09 and got ejected, supposedly Elduque didn’t throw his best pitches because their were scouts from a playoff opponent in the stands.

This team is the same plus Cole. Other besides DJ needs to know how to hit with runners in scoring position. It will be the same case as last year.

Clear as day the team is going through the motions as
the regular season is coming to an end.

Completely different to how they were playing when they were on a losing streak and the season was in jeopardy.

Everyone is likely saving their ammo for the postseason.

Watching this team is like doing coke. A sports car with a stalling engine.

Boone should've gone full Billy Martin out on the team.

Marlins taking the piss on the Yankees mound after they clinched, stinks.

Remnants of that 03 World Series, god damn it I hate the Marlins.

Jeter still makes out at the end, turning it around quickly.

It's not looking good for our playoffs. We just don't do the little things to win. WE NEED CONTACT HITTING! plain and simple.

Do we know who we're facing yet? I think it's the A's or Indians right?

Doesn't matter really. This team is going to be eliminated fairly quickly in the playoffs.

How do you guys feel about our chances against the Indians? It will be embarrassing to get kicked out the 1st round.
