Only win-now teams on the cusp would look to acquire KD. So 1 or 2 year window is fine.

The Suns know that...which is why I'd imaging they'd tax the living daylights out of anyone who wants to get him. Have to pay the "desperate contenders" tax.

If you have a chance to team Durant and Brunson using the limited assets NY has left you do it without thinking about it.

Brunson/Booker/Anunoby/Durant can go head to head with any top 4 in the league. And you can make the rest of the roster work around them.

Who cares if it’s only a 2 year window. You build to get these kinds of opportunities

I'm all in, but if Nova boys and OG are untouchable...I just don't think Knicks have the assets or salary to get it done.

And how we get Booker? :o

That's pretty cheap. KD automatically puts the Knicks in the finals.

Feels like we paid more for Bridges

Yeah that ship has sailed. He’s a great player but still not too easy to root for. It would kinda bring his legacy back on track if he could win it with these Knicks, but I don’t think it would be smart at all to bring him in. Plus, it isn’t even an option got the Suns so …

Non-shooter. I wouldn’t trade Randle for him.

If it's possible, make it happen.

I've tried with no success. That apron stuff is no joke.

I meant Bridges not Booker (although considering what we gave up in the trade you would think we got Booker not Bridges)

Will any NBA teams give Yabusele a trial?

He’s probably good enough. I don’t see him as a reliable shooter or ball handler though. Reminds me of Achiuwa a lot, but not as good.So I don’t think we need him, which is a little disappointing.

He went to the best team in the West and I'm sure they spoke about his role thoroughly.

If he is healthy for those two seasons, even if the option is declined, odds are he can secure a lot more money years 3 and 4 over that Knicks contract.

And if he happens to be a key piece to a title, he's going to likely get paid way more in the long run.

Sad he's gone, but I think it's the right decision for him.
