I guess we can look at it we would PF, SF and PG covered with Amar'e, Melo and Felton. Assuming we are keeping Gallo or Chandler, they can be sixth man. Dougie is back up guard, Turiaf backup center.

We would be missing a starting SG and starting C. I guess we can use Azubuike's deal to get a SG or C.

yep use AZU/Moz to get a C

could try to get affalo back from den too for the sg spot

Moz is staying.

I guess we could ask for Afflalo.

I dont know why but I feel like we a right move or 2 we can possibly contend this year. :O

what the knicks will probably do once, if, they get melo is start trading for overpaid offensive talent with long contracts that teams want to get rid of. we will no longer care about the salary cap at all.

We're not gonna be able to afford higher priced players with Melo and Amare's contracts.

as long as they are lined up with melo and amares deal length wise, its not a bad idea

not much space left over after melo, felton, amare on the cap

Ya man. She did.

Started my day off with a huge breakfast. She then took me to Staten Island and we took the Ferry to Manhatten. She planned on taking me on a horse carriage around Central park but instead we were stopped by this guy who did bike rides instead. We got a much bigger tour of central park in the bike ride and the guy was cool as hell. So glad we went wth the bike ride instead. The guy talked with uus alot and gave us a history lesson at the same time. He let us out of the ride at every major stop to let us take pictures and check out some of the stuff. Got to sneak a quick Joint and was able to smoke in Strawberry Fields. That was awsome.

After that he dropped us off in front of the Ice Skating rink and we went ice skating for about 45 minutes. After that we checked out the rockefeller tree. It was pretty but not as spectacular as i thought, my grandma told me it was the best she ever saw and she goes every year.

Took the subway to MSG and had allright seats. Almost mid court but we were up a lil bit. Such a great game. Was intense. I havn't been to a garden game like that in a very long time. The Atmosphere was nuts. We got screwed IMO. Garnett pushed off a few times for some of those rebounds an Felton Definatly got wacked. Also after watching the game on TV when i got home, there should have been more time on the clock.

After the game we went back to the Ferry to Take us back to SI. The City was all lit up and was beautiful. I knew it was the perfect time to ask her. She was a bit hesitant to stand outside of the ferry cuz of the weather but i got her out there. It really was the best day of my life. She went all out and made the whole day about me. I said some sweet thing's to her to make her happy because she was a bit mad we were outside in the cold and then i said "the one thing that could make this day absolutely perfect was if you married me"

I got down on one knee in front of a bunch of people and she said yes. Got a nice ovation from the people who saw the proposal and then we kissed and heard some Awwwws.

Ferry landed and i drove home. There was balloons and a cake setup forme when i got home that my brother set up for my girl. Had a big piece of cake since i had the munchies from the J ride home. After the cake she put on some sexy lingirie and i then proceeded and busted that ass.

Was a great birthday for me. I cant think of any way to have made it better. She wanted to take me out to dinner to, but i think thats a bit much. So tonight we are going out to Carrabas for a birthday/engagement dinner. Also we go to the doctors @ 4 today after work for our first ultrasound. She is 3 months pregnant. So i get to see a picture of my 2 inch baby too.

Thanks again to everyone who wished me luck.

Major Congrats bro! Copy and Paste this post above into a new Thread, the Board needs to know, and this shouldn't get buried here.

Thanks bro. And i dunno man. Last time i made a thread about my girlfriend i got asked for picks. Which i unwisely agreed too since nobody ever posts pics. And it ended with a bunch of jerk off gifs and rude comments...Didn't you lead that bregade? lol. Ok i will make a new thread.

All you have to do is look at what team Melo is playing on today. The Nets have tried to trade for him, have the assets, yet Melo hasn't been traded. That should tell you everything.

If the rumors are so strong what's stopping the deal from getting done? Melo man.

Intersting quote by Donnie in Lupica's (who suddenly decided to stop drinking the haterade after all this time SMH) piece today:

"I'm not done," Walsh said. "I want us to get to the contending level. I think we're right there, I do. We're in good shape with the salary cap, depending on what happens with the new collective bargaining agreement. Let's finish the job."

Then Donnie Walsh said this:

"I want to take one more shot at the gold."'

How has Lupica been drinking the "haterade"? He's been calling it like it is for a long time now. The Knicks have been a dysfunctional franchise the course of the past decade. Not much of what Lupica has written in the past is wrong.
