Instead of working toward cap flexibility and a maximization of assets, these guys are burying even more dead money on our cap.

No all it will take is a #2 overall pick to be added and the Nets will take him off your hands next offsearson. The Lakers know.

But, seriously did Dolan decide to nominate himself for GM and President?

I'm not so sure the Melo trade is happening. Only being reported by J Kidd JR.

This seems like a move to keep Melo happy if he stays since him and THJ are so close.

And if Lee getting moved is a certainty, get ready to get ripped off in that deal
WTF Post of 2017:

If Phil pulled that off, I would put a put a paper bag over my head, paste a picture of Jeannie on it, poke a hole through the mouth, and give Phil the best BJ he's ever had in his entire life.[/quote]

Nice man. Go for it. Rutgers?

How? He f*cking played 17 minutes a game in the regular season! He actually had a worse year than the 2 years he played for us. Someone said he played 33mpg in the playoffs. That just makes me think of one name ... Jerome James.

He's not even anywhere close to what we need. We have Lee and Dotson looks like a legit steal. On top of that, Doncic and Porter Jr are both wings in next year's draft ... which we were SUPPOSED to be tanking for. :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: :banghead:

Yeah, was between NYU and Rutgers. Opted for less financial debt.

That's what is killing me as well bro. Doncic and Porter Jr. are wings. I loved that we had that slot available. Even worse, it lessens our chance at landing them in the draft.

POST ASB:

17.5 PPG / TS% of .593 / 3PT% of .373

If we can get those #'s extrapolated over the duration of the contract, it'll match the money he's given. He's also a perfect fit in Horny's system.

Nice. I got my bachelor's from RU in 08. I hope their Deans are much better there days. I went to speak to one in the Sports Management program when I was trying to decide my major, and after a 5 minute conversation, she told me that the major "wasn't for me". She could tell.

God, I was just getting excited about Porter too. Just yesterday I watched a documentary about him and I would catch myself being so happy during the day that we actually had a shot at him. Mainly, I was happy cause it seemed like we were going in the right direction for once in the last 20 years. And then this move does a complete 180 on all that sh*t. :(

I guess he's improved a bit since he left. Whatever. He now has a Noah deal. Smh.

Wow, that's pretty cool. Respect bro! They have an entire board for the graduate program. All 3 very plugged in.

Porter did look amazing. But at the same time, we look like we're going to be a train wreck next season with THJ as our #2 scorer, Willy as our 3rd best player.

This is tough. As someone who wants the Knicks to do well because I think it adds drama to the NBA/East...I just...yea. The good news is 2021 is 1,460 days away. That dont seem that long.

I just don't think it's a horrible bet, his career was in a dumpster fire and he fought his way back. It's not about money with him I think he's about improving.

I actually was surprised watching a few hawks games last year and seeing hardaway..

Didn't look like the same guy, he tried on the defense and overall had a good year not 71 mill good but Anything is possible in today's NBA. Frank, THJ, Dot, KP, and Willy isn't a bad young group.. and if we could and smart to the core in the midst of a Melo and lee trade I'll live with the 71 mill..

Not a good sign when you are a verb for bad decisions

If it makes it any better, that dude is a gigantic ATL fan

Fan or just plugged in journalist?

He talks about their 60 win season on almost every podcast he's on. He's a fan boy

Isn't he also plugged in tho? He's not just a fan with an opinion.

How does it help the tank? THJ is a good player, we will win some games solely because of him

How does it help the tank? By tying up money for the next 4 years? Sorry, if we're going to tank, I'd rather tank AND have cap flexibility.

KP in 4 years he'll just enter his prime, maybe a year earlier. As long we got capspace then, I'm good.

Especially in this new cap space era it's not so bad.

KP is probably leaving this sh*thole in 3 years :D

In his Player's Tribune, he'll give a shout out to our pizza and Hamilton.
