i dont think any of those guys will be there tbh. The Hawks and Cavs need a defensive wing. and I think Detroit is going with hayes.

Tyrese is stick thin, can’t finish through contact, isn’t fast enough and doesn’t have a good enough handle to create an advantage against defenders. He won’t be able to make plays if he can’t create advantages with the ball in his hand. Also defensively I could see him struggling to stay in front of smaller guards and his thin frame will make it difficult to fight over screens. He also was ranked 177th in High School so at best Tyrese is intangibles and IQ, he's not going to be the fastest or strongest guy on the team, best passer yes but honestly nothing I would be sad about if we missed him at 8.

I'd be interested to know who they'd take if the top remaining PG's were Hayes and Kira + Okoro on the board

We literally can't **** this up. Kira, Vassell, Hayes, Haliburton, Okoro all good prospects who I predict will have better careers than Lamelo and Edwards.

If we can trade down and get one of these guys even better. No need to be stressing this draft.

that is not the question you asked me I would take a few of those players over Vassell.

But Vassell is an excellent defender, knox is one of the worst defenders. So comparing those two players makes no sense.

You don't know how Vassell defense will be against NBA talent... everyone is his size or bigger in the NBA. If it took Mikal Bridges time to get his game together in Phoenix... where do you think Vassell game is going to be... because I can tell you now... Vassell is not a better prospect than what Mikal Bridges was.

No we only know that some professional scouts have said he that he plays the best help defense that they have ever seem....But you probably know more than them :nod:

They noticed that he played much better with CP3 on the floor and much worse when he was off. He's better than what we got but he doesnt excite me. I dont like being locked into him as our primary PG.If we are gonna go that route why not just sign DJ Augustine (who is underacted) to a cheap contract draft a PG and see what shakes out later?

summer 22 is a whole new front office and likely a diff mindset if we're still low enough to be tanking

Give me Vassel, he impacts wining more with his Defense AND he can shoot the ball. Nesmith might be a stud but he might also be Kevin Martin Lite.
