My first NYK game was watching Arenas skewer us but we won. Tim Thomas hit a 3 to send it into overtime.

Lmao.

that didn't age well yesterday.
he was sensationell. that sequence at the end where he blocks Cade twice... incredible.
Russ and Melo were also great. that was a must-win for them

I'm pulling for Russ and Melo.

But I also want Bron and AD to fail.

Life is complicated.

yes it is. The ONE time in 19 years I am rooting for Lebron.... he breaks down. this mofo

I was rooting for him in 16 & 17 b/c the GSW hype train was OOC & then adding Durant just sucked for the NBA.

I guess Denver is now regretting the Porter deal.

I’d consider buying low. The upside could be amazing. Idk.

no way. at least we can still theoretically get out of RJ's contract, Porter is one of the worst contracts in the NBA there's no buying low on that

in all seriousness, the back injury is too worrisome. but if both were healthy, not even a question. and that was before this year.

If it was just a back injury now it's one thing but the reason he fell all the way to Denver in the 2018 Draft (14th overall pick) was because even back then his back was reportedly such a big risk that 13 other teams passed on the consensus no.1 overall pick. In fact the team doctor for the Clippers apparently said prior to the 2018 draft (after evaluation Porter) that Porter Jr shouldn't even be drafted because of how bad his back was. This came out of Porter's own mouth when he was interviewed last season when he was doing so well in a "how could so many teams have passed on him" piece...so it's not rumor.

adding politics/social issues to an already tumultuous shared knicks fandom would be the tipping point - thats why i stay out of those off topic threads unless it has azz in it.

You don't trade for someone that's 23 and already has drop foot.

me too. it's bad enough to listen to the crazy opinions here on basketball. you don't want to know what people here think about real life issues.
