I actually think that Ayton Sign-and-trade with Indy for Myles Turner makes a lot of sense for both teams. The Suns would get a strong defender and floor spacer and have the PG to make him better and more efficient while keeping the costs low.

The Pacers can afford to give Ayton the max, keep rebuilding and hope he makes another big step forward sometime in the future. Also with Ayton's max deal starting somewhere around 35mill. it would be a perfect match salarywise.

Seems like a trash return for Ayton

There are multiple teams supposed to be interested in giving Ayton the max---there is no way Phoenix cannot get a better S/T than Harris--who at this point does not have that much value.

Correct.
Other teams will ALWAYS make better deals than us, just because we're the Knicks. Even our fans say so.

There are pros and cons to this:

1. Brunson and Fournier defending on the wings is pretty much a recipe for disaster defensively but pretty dangerous offensively. Trading Fournier in a Brunson deal would leave room for another major free agency/sign-and trade move.

2. Giving the Mavericks Fournier is definitely gonna offset some of the impact of losing Brunson. I think there is a solid chance the Mavs could drop next season if they can't compensate Brunson. I see the Nuggets and Clippers definitely overtaking them next season. Without Brunson on that team I see them close to 45 wins ---possibly leaving us with a late lottery or mid first round draft choice. I actually think that some of the thinking behind signing Brunson away would be to specifically weaken the Mavs.

As long as Luka is there the Mavs are making the playoffs regardless of who else is on the team

That is if Luka is in shape from the get go and stays healthy. Take off Brunson without an adequate replacement and let Luka have a 6 week injury and the Mavericks will have a hard time getting the 6th seed. I'm sure before last season no one would have thought Lebron could miss the playoffs entirely either....

Not liking peanut butter is fair and understandable.

And now I have the imagery of sham chain smoking blunt guts with a pb&j and st. Ide’s special brew to wash it down, which I know isn’t accurate.

this image of me always makes me laugh because i've been super healthy for a long time now. how i was in the 90s though is a whole nother story. but no, i don't currently smoke white owls or own a pelle pelle jacket.

I may believe the health stuff, but I refuse to believe you aren't dressed like Jim Jones and don't have a closet full of Karl Kani.

Why would we want broken asss Hayward?

Because he can shoot, is expiring, not a d*ckhead, and often injured so Obi can get time

We just had a broken Kemba and how did that turn out?

Part time Hayward is better than full time Julius, IMO for both oncourt and off-court reasons.

Mainly, it opens up a max slot next summer

The defense would be too bad to play them together anyway. Fournier needs to go or get benched

Brunson swings the ball to RJ for the 3...clank
Brunson in the lane, nice footwork, sends ball out to Cam for 3...brick

:D

cmon now, for all the **** we talk about cam, he can at least shoot. That being said, yea its asnine that fourniers name is coming up in trade talks at the moment. Until we find a suitable 3 and d guy, he should probs stay

PB&J is barely a sandwich and at best it's a condiment sandwich. I won't be taking questions on this

Lebron missed the playoffs because of injury so yes if Luka gets injured they could miss the playoffs.

If he doesn’t they won’t miss the playoffs

How worried would you be for a defense started by 6’1 Brunson & 6’1 Mitchell ? Or is the defensive concern overrated
