This is dead wrong. Felton was terrible in the PnR. Amare scored more in isolation playing with Raymond Felton than at any other point in his career.

I don't know how people keep remembering this Raymond Felton who was great in the PnR. He simply didn't exist.

This is from that ESPN article comparing Lin and Felton's play last year...

As far as passing on pick-and-roll plays, Lin and Felton are almost identical. Felton passed the ball on 54 percent of his pick-and-roll plays, while Lin passed it 53 percent of the time. And both players’ teammates had nearly the same field-goal percentage and points per play on those passes. Felton passed it to the roll men more often, while Lin hit the cutters and spot-up shooters more often.

Felton was better at hitting the roll man last year in his worst season. I do think he's a better fit for Amare...the rest of the roster, jury's out.

Assets wise, who knows, but the Knicks can do a sign and trade, since they will be under the luxury tax threshold next year. They have enough money coming off to be under 70 million. (Hopefully it gets raised though.)

no.

i think that will help a bunch. The lockout is not good especially for teams with moving pieces.

The Knicks keep on losing players and gaining new ones every season. In order for things to finally "Mesh", you have to keep at least one or two core players more than 2 seasons.

I hope to god Jeremy Lin becomes one of the biggest busts in sports history. I hope to god the Houston Rockets regret the signing of Jeremy Lin for years to come. I hope, as a fan base, we boo Jeremy Lin like never before. You all thought I had a hatred for LeBron James? Jeremy Lin is public enemy #1. Just gave my Lin jersey to my dog as a toy. I hope to god he falls flat on his face with the Rockets. 85% and sitting out during the playoffs? Go fk yourself china-man.

Depends on how effective Dolan's character assassination strategy is.

Even so, it's not about the stats. The PG position comes down to one thing, and one thing alone: Who runs the offense better?

Can you really tell me Felton ran the team better than Lin?

Like I said Lin is the better PG. The difference isnt as large as some people believe. Felton could never run the pick and roll with Amare which always irked me. And for whatevr reason Lin only ran PNR with Chandler and Effries, I dont recall seeing Lin to Amare too often either.

He needs something to write about, and by continuously putting it out there others will begin to talk about it.

Hard to run the offense great when you are turning the ball over so much :-) JK

I said this and got killed for it

But yes without a doubt I believe Felton is a better fit especially seeing how well he does in the halfcourt

what's the argument for felton being a better fit than Lin?

statistically, Lin is a better shooter, passer, off the dribble and defense.

unless you talking about fitting in with the old and/or fat culture
