Now we can't get Crowder for Melo either? What is Ainge's idea of a good trade, getting everybody's top 3 players for his 13th-15th man? "You can pick from any of those 3 ... Boston ... Celtics ... a terrific offer."

I don't know why it would be a problem... They're not going to re-up Bradley and Crowder... on top of IT, etc. They're assets on those deals for a trade like this.

I still think we should explore something along the lines of:

BOS: Melo
NY: George Hill (2YR/40MIL)
UTAH: Crowder

Since NY and BOS are under the cap, a deal is much easier to facilitate. I'm not sure how the S&T rules affect such a deal though. Of course, other less important pieces could be included.

You say fuq Melo, and she says something that a lot of people who struggle with their weight could and would be offended by. Cavs make more sense for sure.

CP3-Harden duo doesnt make sense imo. Two bad defenders for backcourt. They're also operating at similar spots.
Top p&r plays.

Irving-Lebron duo is better. They have one good defender. Irving is great scorer. Lebron has some post offense.

3 way trade makes sense for us too.
Send Melo to Cavs, Love to 3rd team and young players or picks to Knicks.

With anyone else besides CP3, it probably wouldn't work. Defensively, we'll see... that's very much a question. Also, D'Antoni is great at over-performing when he has a great PG to run his system. However, he's never been known to maximize an entire team of talent. Some stars thrive while others are left out (Pau, Amar'e). That's because, the way I see it, D'Antoni's system is only mean't for 2 offensive stars. A great PG and Roll guy will thrive and get 85% of the action. The rest of the crew are just spot up shooters. I think the best way to maximize D'Antoni's system is to find guys that fill those roles who are also unbelievable on defense. It's not an easy task to find a 4/5 guy that can fill the role on both ends at a championship level. KG? AD? Towns? It's a short list.
