this is like watching the 90s Knicks being up 2 to 0 versus MJ and the bulls and then losing 4 to 2 in games..

Exactly. I grew up listening to Marv call Knicks on transistor radios and antenna TVs when we won our two NBA Finals championships. Marv is revered by my generation because he was the best in the business at the time. But our poor little snowflake ass hole owner melted every time Marv spoke facts about his shyt-ass teams.

Nobody has ever done play-by-play better than Marv from back when he was the Knicks play-by-play announcer. I don't listen to many national broadcasts so I can't speak on allegations that Marv mis-calls plays and stuff like that. I watched him tonight and I thought he was fine but I wasn't watching close enough for flubs plus I try to mute out Chris Webber's voice at every opportunity so that also adds to the difficulty.

yep.

Losing Game 5 was inexcusable. And being up 15 and losing was even worse.

For sure, and this doesn't mean that the Raps had nothing to do with it, but a team cannot lose like this with zero adjustment.

Marv plays it pretty straight. At this point, he's just trying to work in basic play by play coverage while being sandwiched between two knuckleheads and I felt for him.

Yes, it does Giannis. Changes do need to be made. You'll see as you get older.

2,500 Jumpers and 3,000 FTs a day. Make 85% of his FTs and 50% of his jumpers and don't leave the gym until he does so every day.

Simulate playoff noise too while shooting FTs

Changes to his game need to happen. He needs to learn some go to moves on the perimeter and can't just rely on his athletic and physical abilities. He needs to hold himself accountable and realize he has major flaws in his game so the changes need to happen with him learning how to create space and score on the perimeter. Step back jumper? Side step jumper? Turnaround jumper? A floater? Even a rookie Knox has a floater. I mean he needs those if he wants to have usage like he does. If not then at the very least get more consistent at the free throw line, become more consistent as a spot up shooter so they can use him better in pick and pop situations. Him just running down the floor into defenders isn't going to get it done.

For a lot of people that picked apart his game and got shouted down because he was still dominating, this is that Dennis Green moment. HE IS WHO WE THOUGHT HE WAS.

And on top of that he was as flat-out scared - and actually affected by it - as any star player I can remember in a long time.

He'll get over his jitters, most likely. I'm of the opinion that he needs post moves more than anything. Lopez was more useful down the stretch. Get a dropstep and a turnaround.

Ultimately, he shouldn't feel content, and he seemed that way in the presser. Hopefully he isn't because there are some glaring things that you mentioned that he needs to improve on.

Bucks should hire 4-5 legit goons and station them at the doors to the gym. Then make Giannis shoot 2,500 jumpers and 3,000 FTs a day. He can leave the gym in two ways - he makes 85% of his FTs and 50% of his jumpers OR he doesn't and he has to fight his way out the exit. He'll make it home to his bedroom for his sleep, or the goons will put his ass to bed right there on the hardwood and when he wakes up the next day he can try again. Either way he gets better/tougher so the nonsense this series doesn't ever repeat.

I still can’t believe we traded for Bargs when we could’ve had Lowry for the same return just as he was entering his prime. He would’ve been a perfect fit next to Melo in what was last great season in 2013-14. What could’ve been. On the bright side, we would probably be on the treadmill today if we had made that move. But still.

Replace bledsoe with a halfway solid PG that can shoot (like Goran Dragic) and they'd be in the finals right now.

I kidnapped him before the game started, but at some point when I wasn't paying attention he escaped from the trunk of my car and ending up clowning on the sidelines again. I tried man
