This kid was the center of the NBA universe for brief moment in time. I will never forget the Linsanity run. It really was fun to watch. He was never the same again. Now he's playing in China. Wow.

What made them successful on offense is their uncanny ability to make the shots they take at a wider margin than their opponents, which is primarily due to guys getting their shots where they are best at it, and having a floor full of willing passers to do so.

GS rotates that ball quickly and they do find the open man. Not sure why some teams don't drill their squads in this thoroughly, because if you do that well you can compete against teams with superior talent and often win.
If Fiz gets our guys to move the ball I'll be very happy. Hoping he doesn't reward too much hero ball.

I do think there will be quite a bit of iso play. The team is still really young, and certainly don't have the on court chemistry to be the team we all desire.
GS core has roughly 7 years of playing together. I'd love to see what our young guys could become if some of them get to play together that long.

And that's all part of why fans like us want patience, so we can see that chemistry build which takes time.
One thing that occurs to me is Mitch is an X factor most clubs don't have because his ability to gather the ball around the rim really does encourage our guys to find him on the post-up or lob.
The more savvy guys on our squad will exploit that threat and it may even help our three point offense as well when teams have to always keep their eyes on both the perimeter and Mitch at the same time.

If you're settling for what the defense gives you, then the defense has won. Sure, you could win a game off that, but the vast majority of the time, if the defense is forcing you into less efficient shots, you will lose.
Then why did the number mid-range 2s go up in the playoffs?
Cause my numbers say that it's pretty even, at least for the Warriors and Raptors, but 3pt attempts are up way more than mids
