Small sample size (18 mins) but Ingram has an 67% EFG and 80% TS in the 18 mins Zion is on the floor with him.

In the 48 mins he’s off, Ingram has a 24% EFG and a 31% TS.

Stats from NBA wowy

From JSports Twitter
These next stretch of games will dictate exactly how aggressive things get. Keep in mind though I’m told regardless of what they say Mills and Perry Do Not have final say with trades during this deadline.

Another quiet day of no news. Be ready for it, these vets will all be here in year 2. They want to roll them back out there and let them try again but maybe with Drummond at center instead of Taj Gibson. They’re going to double down because they’re so sure this is really a playoff team. Morris is getting a max contract.

Dumwiddie is a bench player. No surprise here.

Nets probably believe that their best shot in winning games is by beating the other teams’ benches.

I have to openly admit that if presented with a choice this would be a very difficult one for me. There is some sentimental attachment to RJ given that he is the one we drafted and has made it obvious that he wanted to be a Knick. Ingram meanwhile is someone that strikes me that enjoys being in a small market.

However when building a team the type of wing I’d envision to have is someone like BI. Deadly from midrange and outside, someone you can isolate but also be a good catch-and-shooter and a guy who has enough playmaking skills that can dissect opposing teams in the clutch. BI’s kong wingspan also make him a solid defender as well as makes his shots almost impossible to block. This is the type of wing I would prefer as opposed to point forwards.

I think the question I would have to know the answer to is if RJ is closer to being LeBron than BI is closer to Kawhi.

Rudy Gobert: 22 points, 17 rebounds, 5 blocks

Due for a supermax.

His competition: the $158 million man
15 points, 2 rebounds, 3 turnovers.

Rudi +2, KP +5, Luka 2-10 3pt, 1-5 FT.

Another Luka-loss for the Mavs. Chokes every Q4. And he was pally af with all of the Jazz players after the game. This is becoming Westbrook-like.

Carlisle can't believe in Boban because he doesn't 3. :shrug_txt:

Great post - especially the stuff I cut :D

Just by body-types, RJ never becomes Lebron, right? And BI is always about half-way between KD & Kawhi? Not talking about their basketball skills or whether they become anything like those 3 players.

As far as skills go .. why knows, obviously.

Look, if you are going to post these posts about the Mav games then at least talk about the games honestly.

Obviously KP with the drive for 2 and then 3 for the Mavs first 5 points was what gave them a running start. He had foul trouble. Dunked on Gobert after a nice drive. Did some deterring within the limits of the foul trouble. However, his role within the Mavs current scheme is extremely limited. So, yes, his impact was positive, but not huge.

BUT .. the game swung on the decisions of the Mavs coach (not regarding KP) and on Doncic choking yet again.

Stop obsessing about taking "shats" at ex-Knicks players. It's just a terrible look. Try to think about the actual games.
