TRADE ANNOUNCEMENT

The Boston Celtics have agreed to trade Kristaps Porzingis to the Denver Nuggets along with Dario Saric and Collin Sexton to the Golden State Warriors in exchange for Russell Westbrook, Eric Gordon, Elfrid Payton, Wendell Carter Jr., Reggie Bullock, the #42 pick in the 2020 BaF draft and a 2022 2nd round draft pick.

The Golden State Warriors have agreed to trade Russell Westbrook and Reggie Bullock to the Boston Celtics along with Gary Harris to the Denver Nuggets and the right to swap 2021 1st round draft picks (after they satisfy their owed swap with the Lakers) to the Detroit Pistons in exchange for Mike Conley, Dario Saric, Collin Sexton, Ersan Ilyasova and TJ McConnell.

The Denver Nuggets have agreed to trade Mike Conley to the Golden State Warriors along with Eric Gordon, Elfrid Payton, Wendell Carter Jr., the #42 pick in the 2020 BaF draft and a 2022 2nd round draft pick to the Boston Celtics, along with Nerlens Noel to the Detroit Pistons and Kentavious Caldwell-Pope to the Los Angeles Clippers as well as Larry Nance Jr. to the Sacramento Kings in exchange for Kristaps Porzingis and Gary Harris.

The Los Angeles Clippers have agreed to trade Markieff Morris to the Atlanta Hawks in exchange for Kentavious Caldwell-Pope.

The Sacramento Kings have agreed to trade Ersan Ilyasova to the Golden State Warriors in exchange for Larry Nance Jr.

The Atlanta Hawks have agreed to trade TJ McConnell to the Golden State Warriors in exchange for Markieff Morris.

The Detroit Pistons have agreed to trade for Nerlens Noel and the right to swap 2021 1st round draft picks with the Golden State Warriors (after Golden State satisfies their previously owed pick swap with the Lakers).

I was of the same thinking but the Warriors could make a legit move for him, has a couple big contracts coming off the books next year so he wouldn't be in a cap crunch either, much higher FA rating then Knicks as well

early returns for that blockbuster from my perspective:

Like what Boston did (brodie was key to GS champ run)
GS looks like they have more moves in the chamber so I am waiting to see (they probably lost a bit more talent but gained cap space and has a great FA rating so he could be dangerous!)
Love what Denver did. Consolidated there assets and I like the Drummond/KP duo and if they get sim bumps from some of there cheaper guys I see potential there

Clippers get back KCP (whats not to love)

Other teams seem to get decent fits and Det using cap space nicely to add to the asset chest.
