I foolishly toyed with the idea of bringing back one , or maybe two, of Rose/Bullocks/Burks/Noel/Taj for some kind of continuity, but I was foolish. Those players might be seeking more than 1 year deals and pay increases. So, bad idea.

Pretty sure Taj will take a cheap deal though. Not before the Knicks explore his asking price vs Zach Collins

I worry those extra shots might build their value and then they will want to get paid more eventually. Risky.

If he was making 20 M and show he could be half healthy, I wouldn’t of mind but he doesn’t protect rim. He does provide shooting and passing at the 5 that we need.
