Here are the 2 trades in question where the same pick (Utah's 9th rounder) was involved..

The Utah Jazz will send their:

1st, 7th, and 9th round picks

in exchange for:

The Oklahoma City Thunder's

2nd, 3rd, and 4th round picks.

The Philadelphia 76ers have reached a deal with the Utah Jazz exchanging second round picks (42 and 46), along with Philadelphia's 6th (162) and 10th (282) for Utah's 5th (135) and 9th (255).

Would seem more fair that nyknicks2k2 get the 8th rounder since he gave up more value (2, 3 and 4 for 1, 7 and 9) than can of peas did (2nd, 6th, 10th for 2, 5, 9).

So the FINAL RULING - the Thunder will get Utah's 8th round pick. The Sixers will get the 9th round pick.

I'm going to update the Thunder/Jazz trade to amend the 9th into an 8th going from Utah to Oklahoma City.

PG - Deron Williams - Gilbert Arenas
SG - Thabo Sefolosha - Gilbert Arenas
SF - Rudy Gay
PF - Lamar Odom
C - Brendan Haywood

Thanks....

Your team should be named Team Enigma, Why, because you have the talent to be a top team, but you also have players that when they fall into bad habits can cripple a teams chances. You have to get the best out of them every night to be successful. Outside of Williams, you better hope someone else is hot on any given night.

Thanks smoke.... I feel that I drafted 4 legit scorers in Deron, Odom, Arenas, and Gay, so on any given night, anyone can win a game for me. I will have Odom in a much increased role, as he will be my main option down low. I feel that I got the talent, and ball movement that was needed in having a successful uptempo offense.

Thabo is one of the best perimeter defenders in the game, and Haywood is one of the best interior defenders in the NBA, so when my offense isn't clicking, my defense can click for me.

Also, Gay is a very good YOUNG player that has an enormous potential to improve, and he will have an increased role while playing with a legit PG.

Now on to your roster... I like it, but I don't really see a true #1 option, but that might work well for you. It seems like you based your roster off complimenting each player perfectly, while keeping an uptempo pace. You may need another shooter, but it is definitely your best BAT roster. Wasn't a fan of the Noah/Lee selections, but it looks like they are starting to highlight your roster. Definitely a playoff team.

Any thoughts on mine?

PG-Mo Williams/Leandro Barbosa
SG-JJ
SF-
PF-Troy Murphy/JJ Hickson
C-Al Jefferson

I know I need a sf but that's a very deep position, even now. I wanted to get a scorer off the bench first...

I liked the JJ/Jefferson selections, and even the Mo Williams selection was decent, but I don't know.... Jefferson is best used as a PF, and if you're going to put him at the 5, you better put a legit defensive 4 next to him. Murphy isn't that at all.

Not a fan of Hickson, especially off the bench this early. Barbosa isn't a good fit with you as your a halfcourt team with 2 shooting guards playing PG. Not much youth or cap flexibility. Will fight for a playoff spot, but I see you in the lottery next year. Sorry.

My turn. :P

Haha, it's all good...I have a few sleepers that should be there when I make my next few picks that should shore up some of my weak sports (defense lol). Honestly, I really like your team...pg who can score just as well as he can get his teammates involved. You also have two players in Odom and Gay who can handle the ball allowing D Will to play off the ball more. I like the Haywood selection (I was going after him as well). However, I feel like you need more scoring from your front court. Odom is good, but he's not a go to scorer in the post. If anything, he's a pretty good perimeter player/mid-range player.

Arenas is another player that I was targeting lol...oh well. I'd look for a low post scorer via trade or draft, there are some left over, and move Odom to the bench. Him and Arenas off the bench would be absolutely LETHAL. Definitely a playoff team...one of the better teams I've seen so far. Thabo--VERY underrated pick...not a huge fan of him...I can name one player off the top off my head, who I plan on drafting, that would have been a great fit on your team as well. Your team is good though, no doubt.

Great pick with Ersan. He was going to be my pick and I tried to trade up for him.

Quick question:

Is drafting a coach mandatory or can you forgo the process and sign a guy in free agency.
