After a bunch of hoopla, the only Net not at practice today is Troy Murphy pending the Detroit Deal.

Guess Nuggets and Nets have no agreement at all

Absolutely. Nets probably want permission to speak to Carmelo. They probably dont want that step.

I'm going to have to agree with this. They seem to be stalling.

Not so sure about the "they want him there" part anymore. The next home game could get ugly if he isn't traded by then. And rightfully so.

The deal I would do is

Douglas, Curry, Azubuike, Chandler, 1st Rd Pick for Carmelo, Al Harrington, Balkman

That is pathetic for Denver.

If I was them I would say keep Douglas and Azu

Taking back Harrington isn't as much of an issue for me as giving up too much talent.

They are dusting off the Lebron Presentation and doing "find" and "replace all" with Lebron and Carmelo's names.

i wouldnt mind taking back harrington

but i worry about how harrington and this coach would get along.

but if they're so worried about dumping off salary then why wouldnt we rather take back birdman + balkman???

harrington + having chandler or gallo/melo is redundant, whereas taking an equally bad contract in birdman and having him at PF/C isn't as redundant.

gallo/chandler, buike, curry, ar/first, turiaf for birdman, melo and balkman

Laker fans booed Kobe but he still stayed. Melo's best move would be to finish out the season since Denver wants no part of NY and Denver get Lebroned.

I feel the same way. I would take on JR Smith's contract if need be too-- plus I think he could probally help us.
