So i had a conversation at work with a guy who is fan of a certain team and it led me to ask a few questions to anyone that will entertain them.

Does your location dictate what teams your a fan of?

Lets say your a Knicks fan (something we all have in common), yet your not from NY, lets say your from Connecticut (where you may be from applies too) and they do not have an NBA team. If tomorrow that state got a new NBA would you become a bigger fan of the new team over the Knicks? Is it possible for the new team to become your #1 team, and the Knicks to still be a favorite, but just not your #1 anymore? If that did happen should you still be considered a Knicks fan?

What level of fans are there? Do you believe in levels of being a fan?

Just trying to see if my way of thinking is that far off compared to others.

Well, I'm pretty sure if I wasn't born in NYC and spent my formative years here, I would be another fan of another team.

I do good?

Lets say you lived in Northern Va and you were a Redskins or Wizards fan from being very young. Then later on in life, lets say your 40 and Virginia gets proffessional football or basketball team. Do you switch favorite teams? How could a true fan do something like that? I simply cant understand.

No but the process online is much easier. Check the stats. More people are hooking up online than ever. Noone wants to waste time playing guessing game. When it comes to a baggy yea they get it on the street but when it's time to really find a person that is stable best place is those sites.
