I would too, but if we are getting back Brown and Ojeleye (someone who I think can be a 3/D guy going forward), then I think we should accept it and not press our luck. Realistically, we're probably not going to get a better deal than that IMO. Maybe a second round pick added? We're also cutting some salary and might be able to trade Crowder to a third team for a pick.

Honestly, only reason would be if they lost out on Hayward and Ainge felt some pressure. Melo would be a nice mentor for offensive arsenal for Tatum (with proper coaching in Stevens, it could be a lethal combination for Tatum), Lee would be a nice 3/D option replacing Crowder/Bradley, Brown is somewhat redundant with Crowder and Tatum, and KOQ would be a nice backup big on any contending team.

If the Knicks don't have interest in Love who is a double double machine and former all-star why would they want Anderson that is a fraction of the player Love is for nearly as much salary on a longer deal? Love can be flipped for assets but Anderson will cost assets to unload, it would be disgusting to have almost $40mil locked up between Noah and Anderson.

It's good the Knicks won't take Anderson, just because salaries match and Houston is desperate to get something of value for something that has no value, doesn't make it a deal worth doing. Screw Morey, he needs to cough up assets for Melo and then more assets to take Anderson but I'd still not want to do it. That deal does nothing but add a longer deal on a negative value player, Melo still has value!

3 dudes who want the ball in their hand. the only way it works is if melo is willing to play the role he did on the olympics i dont like it though especially not them 3 defensively. cavs make the most sense to me out of the 2

Cavs make more sense for sure.

CP3-Harden duo doesnt make sense imo. Two bad defenders for backcourt. They're also operating at similar spots.

Irving-Lebron duo is better. They have one good defender. Irving is great scorer. Lebron has some post offense.

harden really broke out and played his best basketball playing point guard. im interested to see how dantoni wants to run the offense now. Their supporting cast as it is now is really good they still have gordon/ariza/anderson just added tucker which is why i said melo would want the rockets but do the rockets even want melo theyd have to make changes to fit him in and break up an already good roster.
