I can understand if Kawhi goes to the Lakers. He loves LA. And it makes sense to go to the better LA team. And he could be exhausted from having to carry his teams for numerous seasons.

Not seeing how this makes it acceptable either. You guys are missing the fact that Lebron is still Lebron, and AD is KG level before Boston, and Kawhi is at his peak and they’re all still top 5 players in this league... that has never ever been done before.

Kawhi and Lebron having rings doesn’t excuse this in the slightest... like at all. This is a big deal.

Kawhi wining on his own and then joining Lebron and AD... where’s the sense in that?

I agree with Zach Lowe. It's better to just tank then completely than offering these 1 year deals to guys who won't make much of an impact in terms of getting us anywhere but caught between a rock and a hard place. If you will commit money then do it to somebody you plan on building with, if not then keep it pushing.
