I'm like "he doesn't have Sabonis, does he?"

Is he really on the block? We should go after him with the fury of a thousand suns. Good thing we just got all those bigs, eh?

Yeah, he’s someone that you instantly add to your core and never regret. Big man that can play make, dunk on your head, defend, eat glass and space the court.

Add LaMelo and Sabonis to this core and it’s scary. Sadly, I don’t see a chance of him becoming a Knick.

Malik Beasley is a free agent after this season and Denver probably won’t be able to keep him. He’s my main target for free agency next year. Very good defender, elite shooter with ability to get to the rim. One of the most underrated players in basketball. Only 23 I believe.

Sure if the Knicks decide to dump Trier and Dotson.
They are more likely to draft a guard than a big while having Frank,DSjr and RJ that need guaranteed minutes.

Around the NBA:
On the general board there is a thread about knicks management being stunned and depressed about Durving going to the Nets.
Does having 2 non D playing max guys on the team sound good? Or cool? Not to me.

In all the years I've posted on this board, I've gone to the general board to read a few things, maybe 3 or 4 topics. I thought my head would explode from the concentrated doses of stupidity.

I ended up perma-banned from the General Board over the Summer, for taking a massive dookie all over Nets fans/a few other randoms that the Internet Janitors had to clean up. Mostly Mr. Dollar Bills, who kept crying that I better not report him (he definitely reported me, however.)

The bias/ignorance over there is breathtaking.

Thats an experience many of us know well, i had read only access on the GB for long, long time. Didnt bother for reinstatement until recently, once i maxed out my post counter.

For the years i had ROA, i just watched false narrative over false narrative.
Wrong perspectives.
The nba is an offensive league but D is king there.
D is king here but not all teams are as reliant on defense for success as NY.

My take stamina is the new defense in the nba. Being able to outlast is more important than defense that isn’t sustainable individually anymore. Top defenders have a 2-3 year window of top production before eventually falling off and start getting blown by.

Yes and Jalen usually calls things right.

Also helps he is one of those cited as a comp of RJ. Would probably know the right pieces to surround him with.

I think you and I are on the same page that the Knicks should be incrementally adding young pieces in ways other than the draft. Doesn't seem like the brass is on that page and we're just not prepped to make those kind of moves. Rookie scale and 1 yrs leading to max FAs is their MO.
