A byproduct of the parity factor is we will see a bunch of teams hovering around the .500 mark. Which will give the majority of GM's the feeling of still being in it. (Aside from the Lakers, Pistons, and Spurs)

So not sure we will see too many teams punting and conceding their season and becoming sellers. As such, the trade market towards the deadline will be in favor of the few who declare themselves as sellers, and buyers will likely have to pony up more than they currently anticipate due to competitive offers.

So far during trade talks, buyers have been very stingy. I predict the market will dictate a change as we inch closer to the deadline.

That WCJr move by you was very smart bro. Very good deal for you. I tried to get him but was rebuffed. I was toying with the idea of making an offer to take on Gortat too but never sent it cuz I don't have the cap flex without sacrificing a core piece I like.

But people are still not hip to the value of taking on a large EL contract that definitely won't return IRL. That is basically free cap flex for a large 1-yr offer, free agent signing.
