But the defense has gotten lost way too many times. seems like thibs trying to outsmart himself by not sticking with just switching everything and instead they're mixing in drop, hedge and recover nonsense etc and completely botching it.

but prichard and tatum both hit like 4 deep pull up 3s that are not high percentage shots.

Yeah being down by 20pts and each game is not going to cut it. Eventually the Celtics will figure it out and not let the knicks back in the game. They'll make a small run but end up losing in the end. Knicks just suck at home.

its certainly not sustainable. Because you can't expect the Celtics to shoot terrible every game.

the double in the post has to stop...if they make a shot over a smaller player so be it...giving up wide open 3's because you are doubling is asking to lose.

results matter over everything obviously but we can be real with ourselves and admit both wins were flukes. knicks deserve credit for playing well down the stretch of both games and to an extent their defense - but the offense continues to be extremely poor and simply not good enough to win (unless your opponent shoots 25% from 3)

it works to an extent when they're out of rhythm. but you have to get them there. we certainly did not today.
