What signs? Speculation from a few beat writers who just assume that felton means no Lin?

96 minutes a game at the guard position and we have 4 guards who are in the rotation (euro, kidd, felton, jr)

not seeing the need for a back-up sg. If Fields could get away with playing sg then so can kidd. We only need a back-up sg if the euro busts.

They're saying on espn that Houston tried repeatedly to deliver the offer sheet, but the Knicks kept stalling. And that they think grunwald was stalling so he could try to pull off the Felton deal.

I think it's clear that the FO and coaching staff are not convinced with Lin despite what they were saying. They also said before they wanted to bring back Landry as well and looked what happened. I think from Day 1, they planned not to bring Lin back. Otherwise they would not pursue Nash that aggressively.

White replaces Fields and I liked what I saw from him a lot. He hasn't been playing much lately so he didn't have his legs but he had a really nice feel for the game..unselfish... smart.

Now we are just ready to have White 25-30 minutes a night as an NBA SG for potentially half the season or more? We are making all these moves and then that is what we are doing at SG? Don't buy it.

It will be ironic for Isola if Lin doesn't return--he'll essentially be agreeing with the Knicks organization who he was trying to annoy.

The original report that started all of this stated that Felton was going to the Knicks and that Lin was not being matched. So far he's being vindicated. At this point I don't doubt that he was right about the entire thing.

James Dolan is one of the greediest humans in existence. He's literally the human version of Mr. Krabs. He has that green on his mind when he looks at Lin. All the asian fans spending millions on Lin's merchandise, MSG stock skyrocketing because of Lin, and all the media deals his crooked hand can sign overseas to get Knick game televised there. No way Dolan doesn't cash out and cash in on Jeremy Lin.

Plus, Knicks are tying up the Rockets cap by avoiding receiving the offer sheet and in exchange, handcuffs the Rockets from making a splash in the free agency pool. Just a "**** you right back" from the Knicks to the Rockets.

Jeremy will be matched, not for basketball reasons, but for monetary reasons.

Wtf is going on with all these screwed up logic?? It's Knicks not willing to give Lin a contract, not Lin turning down something Knicks offered. Lin has no contract, he cannot wait until everyone is done with settling their roster and HOPE Knicks eventually will offer him SOMETHING! If Knicks don't match, they simply didn't do their homework and got pawned by Houston, Lin did absolutely everything by the book!

If it helps with the movement the Knicks seem to be on - I watched Allan Houston working with Fields and Houston was far better even now.

Now now... Fields was in for a cut in minutes to begin with.
