If they end up letting him go, I just wanna say: I don't care if this was financial. I don't care if this was personal. We've had absolutely nothing to get excited about over the past 10 years, now all of the sudden an undrafted, unproven guard comes along, rescues our team and electrifies New York (and the world) catapults his way to one of the biggest names in all of sports, and after not even one year, we let him go.

You just summarized well why this is so unacceptable and depressing to me if it happens.

Stephen A Smith @stephenasmith

All this talk about Lin, like he's the 2nd coming of Chris Paul is ridiculous. Stop it!

Those two should not be mentioned together, and i have zero issue with ronny having a ring.

I know right, i think he likes to stir things up to much. Never was fond of him, i feel like he snorts something right before he gets on air. No way someone is that energetic to speak about sports all the time.

so true.
and if lin works out, he gives us another all-star, we will have a true BIG-3 to compete with Heat.
What's sad to me is that we could have had them BOTH. Harvard learning from one of the GOAT.

Now we have Fat learning from Drunk.

Worth noting that Melo started the CP3 rumors BS before the Lin contract renegotiation hit the fan.

Nothing like a ringing endorsement from the "star" player to make a guy feel comfortable.
Play time is over.

F*cking Amare... I don't care how big his contract is, we should've kept Jeffries and Harrelson and made STAT play garbage minutes.

yes because that's exactly what every championship team has: a PF **AND** a C who aren't any type of threat offensively.
